Anybody happen to play Mount&Blade? Or even better got into the Beta of M&B warband? For those who dont know the game, its the best spend 10$ (bought it when it was still under development and helped beta testing) in years. Its a medieval setting. And its strong point is the combat. The direction of your mouse movements dictates the direction of your swing or block. Horse combat is a very important part of the game and nothing is more fun to get a great horse, heavy armour and a great lance and ride into a bunch of brigands. Untill one takes out a pike that is. Now thats all nice and good. But now they are making warband. And thats all about multiplayer. 32 vs 32 medieval brawls with horse archers, xbows, berserkers, lancers and great tactics if you got a good team that is. some youtube links so you can see some gameplay

i played closed and open beta. And well the game starts at lvl 25. Or so they say. In both beta's i was never able to keep on going to lvl 25. Its just a grind =/ I rather have a game that starts from the beginning and keeps you occupied untill where the game gets intresting. Sure it might be great pvp once you get there. But most people drop off before they get there i noticed. But thats just my oppinion.

Cool, PC shouldnt really be a problem i think. I gues i might give it a shot, sad they dont have a trial out. Would be fun to get to know the game

How is warhammer playing btw? i have read some mixed reviews about it so i am not entirely certain if its worth buying.

Well try some other generes i would say. There are some nice RPG's out there. Mass Effect for PC being the newest one. And yea the Baldur Gate Series, Never Winter Nights Series are all great as well. Strategy games are fun too Command & Conquer and Supreme Commander Also strategy but mroe country management over centuries and historical are the Europa Universalis games. Personaly i love those. Its not that much about managing your armies. its more about doing the right things politicly with forging alliances and declearing war on your neighbour when he is in 2 other wars already. Some find the game horrible, other love it. Look for some IndyGames. There are quite some original ones out there. And finaly, dig through your closet of old games. Retro gaming ftw ^^ Like the X-Com series.

Hmmm, i might have to re-install HL1... But might pop up again ^^ And about FA2 and source... I am gonig to play both!!!

The Warhammer beta was pretty dissapointing tbh =/ (but then again not much options open yet) Havent played the AoC beta and i am going to wait for quite some time before i make a decission. But i must admit it looks really prommising. And no 12 year olds! (AoC is +18) So yay on that :thumbsup: On an other note they are making a Warhammer 40k MMORPG

I am so not ever joining that game again lol. Its okey in the beginning but if you want to be good the time invested is just sick. Stoped playing when i had 8 villages and it just became boring. (I did do some great combat moves as in totaly masacaring entire armies by some smart baiting to my "empty" lvl 20 wall roman city that wasnt empty for long ^^) And well i play Lunarwars at the moment. Thats enough to keep me covered.

I make my own cheats if there are none... Get a program like ArtMoney that allows you to scan your memory and change values. So you just alter your xp or money or so. Works on almost all games.

Well maybe i am a lucky guy. But i see my entire family every week or 2, used to be every week. So for me its not that that makes Xmas so special. Its more of a combination of all those things. The food, the gifts the atmosphere, ... It are all thoe things combined that make it for me
