Then the good TV shows stopped and Battlefield came along to relieve the boredom from mediocre TV shows that followed. Just in from EA's Battlefield Blog Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Xbox 360 title update released An Xbox 360 title update has just gone live for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 which will allow all players who bought Dr Pepper and used the codes to unlock SPECACT kits to obtain achievements. Any progress you have made to the achievements already will be taken into consideration so if you meet the requirements your achievements should pop when you next go online. Players in North America that have Dr Pepper codes can still use the codes against Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on Xbox 360 to claim one or more of the four SPECACT kit upgrades. Just in from EA's Battlefield Blog Battlefield: Bad Company 2 brings Onslaught as as the game reaches 5 million Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has officially exceeded 5 million units sold world wide. Thanks to everyone who has supported Battlefield and bought a copy. In other good news we can officially announce Onslaught mode coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Onslaught is bringing co-op gameplay to Battlefield for the first time on console. The new game mode puts you and up to three friends against the enemy on Valparaiso, Atacama Desert, Isla Inocentes and Nelson Bay – redesigned with new lighting, time of day, added vehicles and other effects. Each map has a dedicated gameplay focus, requiring different levels of teamwork in order to complete the objectives against an onslaught of enemy AI. Vehicle warfare comes to the forefront in Atacama Desert while Nelson Bay focuses squarely on infantry assault. Players can compete in squads and check individual progress via the dedicated Onslaught leaderboards.
