Back on topic... The only scripts I have seen are ones like the crouch toggle, or one that would crouch while jumping. A while ago, someone posted a link to a CS scripting site, but I can't find the post or the link anywhere. Also, I remember Klif talking about making a script, he might have more information about them. I think a couple of people were banned from servers/leagues for using "zoom scripts" but I have no idea how they worked (and no desire to find out) From what I heard, they are putting something into 2.9 to stop this anyway, if I'm not mistaken. yea, mega had a zoom script deemed illegal by CAL rules. I saw the video where he used it I believe but that could be different.

Gator that was an excellent post. By far the longest in this forum's history, at least from what I have heard. You should write an official history of the TAC clan. It was difficult in stopping myself from quoting your post Gator, it would have made for a good spam thread starter.

An interesting dilemma has developed about how popular FA will become once 2.9 is released. What makes you think that people will abandon state of the art games for a game that is essentially five years old? FA boasts gameplay as its only quality to attract players. Many other games offer what FA has and much more these days. FA does have an enjoyable community but this is a hidden trait that few realize or even appreciate. Sure the core group of FA players will undoubtedly remain but I don't think many new players will join the FA community. I fear that 2.9 will attract little attention.Something I just realized. The fate of this community lies upon clans like this one. The clans provide the servers that the rest of the community plays on. Four of the five top servers, excluding bot servers, are run by clans. You don't see many non-clan related servers running anymore. Once the clans leave for another game, then the servers will disappear. Who is going to pay for a server after that?

Working on that . . . where could I get good crosshairs? it gives you two different choices in sprite folder. the better of the two is functional. but you can also get crosshairs over at the firearms forums.

We scrimmed them once. We beat them. They seemed very nice and I enjoyed playing with them. Seems to be just one guy, redneck, making all the fuss.

of course, but just assembling the 5 player stack was cool. in the game it seems a lot higher up.

Today on the TAC the exploit of all exploits was found. It took a stack of five guys to accomplish the task and many broken legs. It was first proposed by myself, Sharpshooter6, several weeks ago but today it was found to work. Though not practical, it is still a very good spot. Check it out. I have another great exploit as well but that is a much, much more practical one that I do not wish to elaborate on. It is top secret and only select members were informed of it.
