After installing the new patch i cant play BF:Nam anymore.It takes forever to load up the maps then when i finally do get in i can only play for 2 mins, in which time i lag bad, then i get disconnected from server.Any help plz?

I decided to post here bcoz The Armory is MY community, not the FA forums.I have retired from [DoL] and Firearms, for some of you this wont mean a thing, for others it will. FA has lost its appeal to me and i find BF:NAM by preffered game of choice.I will occasionally play FA as Wellsy so ull still know who i am. I can only wish [DoL] and the members that have made [DoL] what it is all the best (except Snowcrash).I would also like to thank TA and its members, a few in particular1. Kywalker, being the first person to give me hints on how to play the mod2. Klif , being the 1 gut to help me out when i had lag probs3. Mac and Gator for tolerating my behaviour over the past 2 years4. Sharpshooter6 for being a good firend to me [DoL] (Be it a long distance one)Myself and certain members have been pains in the ass on and to TA for a while, we didnt set out to be pains in the ass but Snowcrash kinda helped us along that road.Heres a list of ALL FA players that have helped me ....1. Uhhhh.....Why was God Cow kicked if it wasnt his marker? Anyways why shouldnt markers be aloud there...Blue does NOT spawn there , they spawn in that little alley thing, and wen there camped up they place markers in thier spawn, i think red should be allowed aswell

Goss, i respect you, and i respect your work. I know you busted your ass to provide CD, a better 2.9, and a number of other things. However, when Mazor claims something is an exploit, or a bug, than i don't care who else says otherwise, it IS a bug, it IS an exploit. Mazor has said it is, i'm not going to say otherwise. And as for Chappy and Shotty, you're able to (at this moment) take out zoom scripts that allow you to see through walls, and kill your opponant using guns. You wouldn't ban me for having a wall hack, and a zoom script? :roll: Oh, and i believe TA was one of the biggest complainers when net-tez was bringing down the TA server due to a bug in the engine that allowed it to be used. They also were the first to say something about arty crashing servers; yet they banned arty because of the bug. -edit- Oh, and for anyone who wants to say mazor never claimed it was a bug: this is for you Very nicely said

Heres a more in depth description of the problem.....I have:Operatiing System - Windows Xp CPU - 2179Mhz GenuineIntel Pentium 4Memory - 256MbVideo Card - NVIDIA GeForce4 MX440Sound Card - Avance AC97 AudioThe problem is....as soon as i double click on the BF Vietnam icon the first splash screen opens up, the black window saying with the Battlefield Vietnam SignThe screen then goes totally black which is when i assume its trying to run the game but instead i get a message saying there was an error trying to execute bfnam.exeany help woule be appreciated

I bought and installed BF nam but when i try to run the game it brings up the BF Vietnam screen then i get an error message about bfnam.exe not working or somfin...I have uninstalled it and reinstalled twice but its still not working, plz helpthanx
