nopeI'm on a school computer which doesn't let me goto planethalflife, but if you go there, you can find a link to the Steam forums where some guy makes some really good argumentsfor 39.99 (CS:CZ) you get no new graphics/models/soundsall you basically get is new maps and a crappy single playerNow, Ut04 and Battlefield Vietnam, which are also both 39.99 (here anyway) you get new graphics/weapons/maps/gameplay modesseriously. CZ IS NOT WORTH THE BUCKS!

heyI plan on buying Battlefield:Vietnam when I head up to Halifax today.Now, I was wondering, I've been hearing stuff like "Oh, after you install it, you have to defrag the drive you installed it on." true, I don't see what all the fuss over Steam is, I've had 1 or 2 problems, but that's it, and they were both EASILY fixed. and I'm sorry to say DeadRoach, but if your computer can't run Halflife (a game from 1998) smoothly, unplugged it, take it outside, and burn it...because you won't be able to play any games from here on in. Get prepared for the FPS revolution boyz, it's coming fast

1)Valve had close to nothing to do with CZ, so because it's a bad game, doesn't mean Hl2 will be a bad one too. Hl2 has been in the works for 5 years, if it bombs it'll be the end of Valve. But, of course, it won't bomb. This is the sequal to the (arguably, but I'd say it IS) the greatest PC game of all time, like c'mon. When Half-Life was released, it had little to no hype. Hl2 has hype, and now more people know about Hl2 than Hl, which means bigger sales. Also, STEAM won't have anythign to do with Half Life 2 besides Pre-Orders and the Multiplayer. So you basically install the game (if you bought it from the store) and play the single player without ever havign to glance at STEAM. And trust me, people won't be buying Hl2 just for the multiplayer

Same here Fatty, although I'm not 'obese' I hate running through these big maps, spotting a helicopter on the other side of the map, and eventually being killed by its amazing amount of missile spam. Hopefully BF:V will see the error of DC's ways and not go in the missile spam direction

Doom 3 indefinatlyFrom what i hear, it just sounds like the folks at id are too much set on graphics and sound. I have yet to hear anything new in the graphics or storyline department. Basically, from what I've gather, they're just remaking the orignal with better graphicsOh, and you can't beat on hl2 because of STEAM man, that's just stupid. B/c steam has nothing to do with the Single Player.
