  1. That is a paratrooper uniform circa 1942!
  2. is that for the insurance or the bike?
  3. Black Ops 4 will be fully integrated with all of Battle.net's social features, including friends lists and the ability to talk to other players across other Battle.net games. The PC version will also support 4K resolutions and HDR, ultrawide monitors, and uncapped framerates—and yes, there will be dedicated server support.

  5. Hey did you guys hear that the next Battlefield game is going to be called Battlefield V? LOL I only said that 2 months ago. Now remember what we want will not be mentioned at all. You are not going to hear about servers or dedicated servers. Ea does not want this so do not expect to hear about these until around a month before launch. Customized weapons are back Destructive environment. More fluid play (supposedly) Loot Crates will be just skins Behemoths and elite soldiers will be gone Bullet deviation will be less The game will look and sound great EA said they were done with premium. War Stories is back again. (that is the campaign mode) This is a skin job of SWBF1, BF1, SWBF2. That is what you should expect. Do not forget, DICE LA and DICE stockholm started developing BFV and BFBC3 at the same time. BFBC3 is not due to release until 2020. What does this tell you about game development time with BFV? Battlefield Bad Company 3 info: https://www.thearmory.cc/threads/current-ea-dice-info.29181/#post-272053 Sources close to Dice and EA state that there is a new Battlefield project underway called “Battlefield Unthinkable”. It is unclear if this will be the final name of the project but for now I will refer to it as “BFU”. BFU is supposedly set in an alternate version of the 1960s where the cuban missile crisis escalates into nuclear war between the united states and the soviet union. From there players find themselves in a world war III set in the 1960s/70s using vietnam style equipment across the globe. Two missions that have been described are set in cuba during the united states invasion and west berlin during a soviet offensive. Campaign moves away from “war stories” and focuses on a group of soldiers rather than an individual during three distinct campaigns. One multiplayer map has been described as havana during the 1960s and it is codenamed “havana_day”. Operations are also rumored to be returning on a bigger scale with branching storylines for each operation. 64vs64 will also become available for PC players- no details on console users. Overall the game has a very “fallout vibe” when it comes to the setting, like america during the 1950s/60s. You will be fighting on the american homefront as well which will be the first battlefield game to feature this since hardline.
  6. Well EA would not let DICE improve RSP so I am not hopeful. Again, I am not buying the game unless EA is more forth coming than they were with BF1. EA killed off community play not just for us but for all the communities. I have spoken with quite a few PC leaders. Do not expect a large number of PC players on the next battlefield.
  7. Well now we all know how to get your very own lightsaber. I always wondered where the sith gets them.

  12. Rumor: Battlefield WWII Details Revealed in Massive New Leak COMICBOOK.COM A few days ago, we reported on a story that DICE’s next Battlefield game could be a follow-up to [...] A few days ago, we reported on a story that DICE’s next Battlefield game could be a follow-up to its Bad Company series which would be a welcome return for the sub-franchise. Today however, some new details have emerged, suggesting that DICE’s unnamed Battlefield WWII game will take a much different approach. A new video, which you can see above, has appeared online, posted by a In it, he provides the first details on what we could expect from the WWII project, which Newsweek has summarized below. Factions: There are seven factions including Great Britain, the United States, Free French, Third Reich, Kingdom Of Italy, USSR and Imperial Japan. Maps: The retail game will launch with 10 maps with one free map arriving shortly thereafter. DLC: Will work through a Premium Pass like always. Subject of DLC has not been decided. 0COMMENTS Combat: Skill plays a bigger role with the removal of random bullet deviation found in Battlefield 1. Attachments: They return for Battlefield V. Options include suppressors, sights, scopes and more. Four Classes: Assault (a medic with AR weapons), Support (LMGs, ammo access), Recon (Bolt actions for long range) and Engineer (SMGs, anti-tank weapons). All-Kit Weapons: Some weapons will work for all classes like the M1 Garand. Elite Classes & Behemoths Return Customization: Cosmetic skins make their debut. They offer different combinations of headwear, footwear and camo. Skins will be sold as a cosmetic microtransaction. Vehicles: Vehicles will function similar to Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. They require skillful operation and include tanks, Jeeps, planes and more. Like soldiers, vehicles can also be customized with cosmetics. Modes: Operations return and Incursions will be available at launch Release Details: The game will be revealed in May with a beta in August and release in October. Some of these features would be welcome, including the return of Elite Classes and Behemoths, as well as various classes, vehicles and much more. But you’ll want to take all of this with a grain of salt. First of all, Drakesen’s video is not very popular to say the least, as it has nearly as many dislikes as it has likes. Secondly, EA hasn’t officially said a word about what’s happening next in the world of Battlefield. News could drop with an early reveal this month, in an effort to build up excitement for its EA Play event prior to E3. But more than likely, we’ll see the reveal at that event, confirming whether we’ll be seeing Battlefield V, Battlefield WWII or Bad Company 3. Whatever it is, EA has something huge planned, and considering DICE’s record in games over the past few years, it’s sure to be innovative and fun. The next Battlefield game will reportedly release later this year for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Origin PC. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mg7HRYI7mj8

EA Continues Abysmal Treatment Of Aussie Battlefield Players After Nearly A Month Of Crippling Server Issues Logan Booker | Apr 28, 2018, 2:30pm ⋅ Filed to: Australian Stories Share Image: EA Crashes. Empty server lists. Disconnections. We're about to enter the fourth week of serious issues with Battlefield 1's local servers, bad enough to make multiplayer unplayable, with very little in the way of fixes, compensation or communication from EA. Even our own enquiries were met with silence. Can we safely concluded EA doesn't give a crap about its Australian customers? April 4. That's when the problems were first reported. It became clear, rather quickly, they weren't isolated to a few users. There's a thread on the official forums with 40 pages of reports. There's another thread on EA's Answers HQ with 24 pages of reports. The Australian servers are basically unusable. People can't play. This would be a big deal if the outage had lasted a few days. It's been almost a month. Look, if it was an indie company struggling with unexpected success, we might be able to cut it some slack, but the game was released a year and a half ago. This is EA we're talking about. It has the resources to throw around — surely it shouldn't take three (almost four) weeks to track down the issue, plug it up and move on? Image: Supplied OK, let's say it's a difficult, multi-faceted problem with no simple fix. Why hasn't this been communicated better? Why haven't there been daily updates on progress with detailed information? It's the least EA can do, given the length and severity. And while EA has provided a few updates via the Battlefield 1 Announcements forum, it is in no way enough. Other than parroting the sentiment of "we are on it full-time", current results would suggest otherwise. What about compensation? Players did receive 10 Battlepacks, but this was for all players globally and had "nothing to do with this issue", according to EA representative Jeff Braddock. Some free games via Origin wouldn't hurt. Sadly, none of this has happened. Instead, EA has handled the situation with such stunning incompetence, one has to wonder if anyone's taking the problem seriously. It can't even muster a proper, public apology or official statement to media. Image: Supplied I'd say anyone affected is well within their rights to request a refund. Alternatively, you can make a complaint to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, which has recently shown it has teeth when it comes to dealing with big, overseas companies in the business of making and selling games. We'll be keeping a close eye on this. One has to imagine it'll be resolved eventually, but anyone care to guess how long it'll take?
  14. DICE will end Battlefield 1's monthly updates in June 2018, it's announced. Battlefield 1 came out in October 2016, but with a new Battlefield game, which Eurogamer understands is set in World War 2 and is called Battlefield V, due out later this year, it makes sense developer DICE would turn its attention away from the year-and-a-half-old game and toward pastures new. In a post on the Battlefield website, DICE content lead Jonas Elfving said players can expect fresh content and various tweaks and fixes up to June. Updates can include everything from matchmaking and weapon balancing to "even Dreadnought horns that sometimes won't stop blaring". "Enjoy the road ahead and keep jumping in to Battlefield 1 regularly - you don't want to miss what's coming," Elfving said. Battlefield 1's final expansion, Apocalypse, released earlier this year. The Rupture map from They Shall Not Pass was recently made available to all owners of the game. In May more maps will be made available to all. A new mode, called Shock Operations, launches in June. This supports 40 players and sees attackers and defenders fight over sectors, just like in Operations mode. But with Shock Operations, the action is focused to one single map. DICE said it'll be a good shout if you don't have time for a full Operations match. It sounds like that will be that for Battlefield 1. Who's up for some Battle Royale?

  16. E3 2018: all the announcements from gaming's biggest show | TechRadar WWW.TECHRADAR.COM From FIFA 19 to Tomb Raider and everything in between The E3 2018 press conference schedule so far EA – June 9 at 11am PT/ 7pm BST Microsoft – June 10 at 1pm PT/ 9pm BST Bethesda – June 10 at 6.30 pm PT/ 2.30 am BST Ubisoft – June 11 at 1pm PT/ 9pm BST We now know that EA Play will be returning to Los Angeles' Hollywood Palladium from June 9 until June 11, just before E3 itself officially kicks off. EA has confirmed that, as you'd expect, fans will get the chance to see and play the latest EA Sports titles such as Madden 19, FIFA 19, NHL 19 and NBA Live 19 (if the latter performs well enough in the meantime). It's now also been confirmed that the new Battlefield game will make an appearance though we still don't know anything about what the game will actually involve. Anthem, the new monster-hunting IP from Canadian developer Bioware, looks to right the wrongs of Mass Effect Andromeda with its mashup of Lost Planet, Dark Void and The Division. Its dynamic environments, volatile weather patterns and co-operative action certainly have our attention, and though its release date has recently been pushed back, it’s going to one of the show’s biggest takeaways with a brand new "inside look." More details about what else will appear at the show are yet to be confirmed. What we want to see... Ubisoft We're quietly hopeful that we'll get to see actual gameplay - or at least something tangibly reportable - on Amy Hennig’s ‘Project Ragtag’ Star Wars game. Visceral has been very quiet since the forgettable Battlefield Hardline, so if we hear nothing from the studio by this point, we can safely assume the game might be forever stuck in development hell. Ubisoft has now confirmed that its press conference will be taking place on June 11 at 1pm PT/ 9pm BST. Outside of more details on a new Assassin’s Creed (personally, we’re hoping that Origins two-years development cycle becomes the new norm), we’re fully expecting Ubisoft to roll out the only other remaining Tom Clancy franchise worth its salt: Splinter Cell. With Michael Ironside rumoured to be returning to voice Sam Fisher, we’re excited to see a post-MGSV Splinter Cell and how it improve on the grossly underrated Blacklist. We also expect to see a little more information on The Division 2 now that it's been confirmed. Then there’s the big one: Beyond Good & Evil 2. This was the surprise reveal of E3 2017, and while the game is certainly in the early stages of its development, 2018 will mark the original game’s 20th anniversary, so we’re hoping for a little more insight into its world and the nature of the game to come. Oh, and could we see Rainbow Six Siege 2? With one of the biggest communities outside of COD and Battlefield, a follow up on Siege could well breach its way onto the stage in LA.

Hey i found this old article. Hmmmmmm Bf2018 is suppose to take in during WW2.
  18. Check out these games that have come out or will be coming out this year and see if there is anything we all like. We really need a good community game like what we had with battlefield 4. Most of the games coming out seem like they are for squads (4 to 6 players). Battlefield 1 did not help any of the communities out including ours. I think what we need is something that supports us. 32 to 64 players and a real rentable servers that we can adjust for our taste (procon). Of course we have a new battlefield coming i october but I have serious doubts about it. EA has stated that they do not want RSP and wants to mimic what was done in SWBF2 which if that is the case, none of us will be able to play together in the same server. If that is the case, It will be the first Battlefield game that I do not buy. My favorite so far is Escape from Tarkov. The shooters of 2018 By Joseph Knoop January 04, 2018 A look ahead at the FPSes and other gun-based games coming to PC this year The last few years have been good to the FPS, bringing breakouts like Overwatch and PUBG and continued growth of competitive shooters like CS:GO and Rainbow Six Siege. Can 2018 keep that momentum? Here's a list of every shooter coming out in 2018. Confirmed or likely: MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries December | Piranha Games | Link The first numbered MechWarrior game in 15 years, Mercenaries is “one part MechWarrior and one part Football Manager,” according to Piranha Games president Russ Bullock. You’ll build up your fledgling outfit from a single mech to a full-fledged mercenary company, taking jobs from various factions across 300 planets. Combat is all about wearing down your enemies and their surroundings, with fully destructible environments and armour-peeling damage modeling. Metro Exodus TBA | 4A Games | Link After two adventures through the post-apocalyptic Moscow subway system, intrepid Russian hero Artyom is finally ditching the dark depths for a cross-country journey via steam engine. Developer 4A Games promises larger, non-linear levels, familiar ammo and item scrounging, and at least one pissed-off mutant bear. Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Q1 | Fatshark | Link Fatshark's breakout co-op melee brawler throws you back into the realm of Warhammer Fantasy, ready to tangle again with Skaven horde, as well as the larger, more brutish Chaos warriors of the north. Customize your hero with 15 different career paths and a new settings-altering “heroic deeds” system. Anthem Fall | Bioware | Link In a world of exosuit-wearing “freelancers,” you and a group of pals jet around a lush world full of enemy aliens, giant monsters, and “shaper storms,” fighting to protect the last of mankind. It’s definitely attempting to channel the social shooter experience of Destiny, with co-op squads, loot drops, and gated raid areas for you to ponder, but it sure is pretty. Mothergunship TBA | Grip Digital | Link The dude behind Tower of Guns sends his FPS bullet-hell love letter to space, with another massive series of enemies and environments to shoot and dodge your way through, this time with co-op. Besides some upgraded graphics, you’ll be swapping gun parts in and out with a densely modular crafting system, permitting your dream of a 12-barrel lightning rocket launcher. System Shock TBA | Nightdive Studios | Link The grandfather of BioShock, Deus Ex, and Dishonored is getting a makeover in 2018, courtesy of a portion of the original development team and SHODAN voice actor Terri Brosius. Unlike the largely visual-only redo that was System Shock: Enhanced Edition, significant changes will include level redesigns, enemy introductions, and certain equipment (like the roller blades) being changed into something more fitting of a spooky space station. Deep Rock Galactic TBA | Ghost Ship Games | Link This class-based co-op adventure pits you and three space dwarf buddies against alien bugs ripped right from Starship Troopers in procedurally generated caverns teeming with ore. Shoot your way through the critters, or dig your way around in a fully destructible environment. Read our recent hands-on for more. Consortium: The Tower TBA | Interdimensional Games | Link Currently in early access, Consortium: The Tower is aiming to be the quintessential “first-person-whatever-you-want-us-to-be” experience, meaning you can tackle your secret agent mission literally however you want—or not at all. After skydiving onto the immense Churchill Tower, you can kill everything in sight, or try negotiating with one of a hundred or more fully unique NPCs with their own individual backgrounds and behaviors. You can even skip major plot events, if that’s your jam, and the game will (ostensibly) account for that. It’s a lofty goal, but developer Interdimensional Games did manage to make it work, albeit with a smaller scope, in the original Consortium. Superhot: Mind Control Delete TBA | SUPERHOT Team | Link This standalone expansion (currently in Early Access) to the “time moves when you move” action franchise adds a roguelike element to all the slow-mo gun fu. As players progress through the new worlds, they’ll unlock abilities, uncover secrets, and gain access to new playable characters. The roguelike side of things will spawn different power-ups and weapons throughout each level. Escape from Tarkov TBA | Battlestate Games | Link Featuring a “frankly bewildering level of weapon customization,” this S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-style shooter pits two factions of players against each other in tense combat dense with inventory management. There’s no permadeath, but you’ll lose every piece of gear you’ve scrounged unless you store it in your vault for later, creating a tense risk versus reward mechanic. DONT PLAY THIS GAME.EXE TBA | Link Edgy title aside (hey, I’ve read “There’s a Monster at the End of this Book” too), this FPS looks like it’ll blend SUPERHOT's look with violent hordes of enemies, creating quite the chaotic gunfight. At some point, you get a katana, which is always a plus. Battalion 1944 TBA | Bulkhead Interactive | Link If you miss the old school twitch shooting of early Counter-Strike and Call of Duty, the team behind Battalion 1944 is selling its 5v5 WWII shooter as the modernized, refined take on that era. No killstreaks, no upgrades, just you and the ping of a Kar98 from across the map. There’s plans for community modding support, too, if that’s your jam. Left Alive TBA | Square Enix | Link If you’re getting a distinct Metal Gear vibe from this offbeat third-person shooter, then good eye. Featuring the talents of Metal Gear character artist Yoji Shinkawa, the director behind Armored Core, and the mech designer from Xenoblade Chronicles X, you’ll shoot your way through the dimly lit streets of a war-torn city filled with robots or scavenge resources and set traps in three different character arcs. Emerging from Early Access, probably: Quake Champions TBA | id Software | Link After changing the Quake formula into a more hero-based format, recent additions like Doom’s space marine and Wolfenstein’s BJ Blazkowicz have managed to keep things fresh, with US editor-in-chief Evan Lahti calling it his “favorite game of the year.” Unreal Tournament TBA | Epic Games | Link While still sitting in pre-alpha, Unreal Tournament has managed to overcome a number of technical problems and added a new team-focused mode for an overall solid arena combat experience. Polygod TBA | Krafted Games | Link Currently in Early Access, this roguelike shooter puts you in the shoes of a low-poly assassin named “Faceless the Blessed,” tasked with defeating the champions of a bunch of evil gods. Steal the souls of enemies and turn them in for upgrades called “Blessings,” which can be stacked for some interesting combos. sequel), but we’ll just have to bunker down and wait for more substantial news.
  19. We’re several weeks away from E3, the video game industry’s annual tribute to buzzwords, explosions, and shocking reveals of games that will take decades to come out. Are you excited? I’m excited. As always, you can bookmark this article for the full schedule of press events at E3 2018. We’ll be updating as more companies announce their pressers, so stay tuned throughout May and June for more details. Here’s the schedule so far: EA - Saturday, June 9, 11am Pacific Time From sports to shooters to... more sports, EA will kick us off with an opening presentation from EA Play, the publisher’s event in Los Angeles. (EA stopped officially participating in E3 a few years ago.) We can expect to see a new Battlefield, an in-depth look at Bioware’s Anthem, and hopefully some other cool surprises. Microsoft - Sunday, June 10, 1pm Pacific Time It looks like Team Xbox has moved permanently from its previous Monday morning slot to Sunday afternoon, which helps spread out the fun. Microsoft has a lot of pressure to compete with Sony’s fantastic lineup of exclusives, so this will be one to watch. New Gears of War is a safe bet, but what else does Xbox have to show? And what t-shirts will Phil Spencer be wearing? Bethesda - Sunday, June 10, 6:30pm Pacific Time The publisher of Fallout and Doom won’t make people stay up all night this time, as it has thankfully moved this year’s press conference back to a more reasonable hour. (Last year’s started at 9pm PT, or midnight Eastern time.) Bethesda doesn’t have a single announced game at the moment, so this presser should be full of news. Some safe guesses include Prey DLC and whatever’s next from Fallout 4 developer Bethesda Game Studios. Ubisoft - Monday, June 11, 1pm Pacific Time The folks behind Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs always put on a good show, stuffing their presser with big announcements and “one more thing”-style surprises. We know we’ll see The Division 2 and Skull and Bones, but what about a new Splinter Cell? Or the next Assassin’s Creed? And how’s Beyond Good and Evil 2 doing these days? Sony and Nintendo have not yet announced their plans, but Sony typically holds its press conference on Monday night, while Nintendo has spent the past few years airing a special pre-recorded Nintendo Direct on Tuesday morning. Nintendo has also already announced an E3 tournament for the upcoming Smash Bros. on Switch.
