  1. Not a fan of the original but WOW
  2. After reading more than one article about this I'm not worried and here's why: I have an exceptional amount of common sense and I don't run/click random .exe files in Discord.
  3. I have pretty much been playing this game exclusively for a while now, Not to many from the TAC community play but there are a few of us and In my opinion for a ftp game its a lot of fun. The micro transactions I usually don't bother with but I have purchased the battle pass seasons for a total of maybe $50CAN, the dollars spent to hours of fun ratio are through the roof in my case. The people that complain about buying aesthetics amaze me...It's a free game, and they aren't making you spend any money at all if you don't want to, I will say that $170 is outrageous for a skin. I think that the parent company is mostly to blame for these micro transaction complaints. If anyone wants to play I am online Thursdays to Saturday nights or if you want to see what the game is like I stream on Twitch those nights, search for "RigormortisCAN".
  4. I'll lend you the money but you have to get yourself to Monaco....
  5. One of my favorite games in this genre. Looking forward to it.
  6. I'm happy because I heard the ping of a Garand at the end of the video. I'm sad because of the Metro 1944 map....
  7. I will never forget the first time I played Rainbow Six at the time it blew my mind, a tactical online multiplayer FPS "yes please". "Tango Down" would echo thought the house I was living in. I played the franchise until it went to 3rd person, I think it was GR2. I tried the Wildlands beta with some community members and it was fun. For me it's the 3rd person aspect I have a problem with I like the fact that when you ADS in the new one you have the option to actually look down the optic you have attached like in a FPS. The video looks awesome and I will wait patiently to try it. Gator I thought we all agreed we wouldn't pre-purchase anymore games....
  8. Respawn is fighting the good fight in terms of cheaters I realize the numbers they mention are a drop in the ocean but at least they try.
  9. I will try it for sure. Have you played Post Scriptum lately Rogue? I haven't played since the Beta, It was a lot of fun when you had people on your team who knew their roles like a Commander giving orders and calling out targets for mortar team, tanks and infantry. I gave up on it because my computer couldn't handle it. I love the idea of large scale strategic WII FPS and like you, I have been looking forward to HLL for a while now. If It's as good as it looks I think the people that play it will be a big factor in determining It's success.
  10. A good thread is like a fine wine. It gets better with age.
  11. If it is they should make it real.
  12. This looks cool!!
  13. That doesn't really work with Apex...it's free
  14. This is the first I've heard of this from Google and if it works wow.. I've seen other companies attempt this with little to no success. I believe this would all but eliminate cheating too, for first few days anyway...
  15. If your lucky enough to be Irish your lucky enough , today everyone's Irish.
  16. Customer service at it's finest
  17. Agreed. Everyone talks about stopping hackers but no one is implementing effective counter measures. I realize it's a never ending back and forth between the hackers and developers and I imagine developing cheats is a fairly lucrative business to be in these days. What if all the game developers agreed to create a company exclusively for anti cheating and every year they send reps to Blackhat and Defcon and make the best of the best hackers offers they couldn't refuse essentially getting them to work for the industry as a whole to develop and implement measures for all the developers. If every developer in the video game industry allocated .5% of revenue or even .25% to this problem (thats a lot of money) I would like to think that they could develop something to always stay one step ahead of the hackers and make gaming enjoyable again.
  18. Splitting the finite amount of time I have to play games between: Apex Anthem BFV I'm not a fan of the other Battle Royal games either but in my opinion Apex is a different animal, and would be awesome with three people you are familiar with.
  19. I played late last night and this morning, no issues. The flying is better Axle but it takes a little practice to get used to it. It's fun I like it so far
  20. I tried when I got home from work for 5 mins and haven't tried again, even if I don't get to play this weekend I can wait until February,I'm a patient man. Life is to short to be in a hurry.
  21. I will be playing Anthem intermittently this weekend if anyone else has access feel free to get in touch I think it will be more entertaining playing with like minded individuals instead of random seat moisteners.
  22. Sweet Thank god we are going to be able to drive tractors soon...
