  1. A beta for Battlefield 1 is on the way sometime later this year, Electronic Arts has confirmed. Although the beta test wasn't mentioned during today's reveal event, it is referenced in the press release about Battlefield 1's announcement. By registering as a Battlefield Insider for free, you'll be able to get into the beta early. You can sign up as an Insider here on the official Battlefield website. When you do so, the only perks are said to be "in-game rewards, exclusive content, and sneak peeks at news about Battlefield," as well as details on other EA games. The press release mentions all of this but also states Insiders get "early access to the Battlefield 1 public beta." So far, no other details regarding the beta have been shared, including when it might start (the game launches on October 21), how big this early access window might be, or what it includes. We'll have more details as they're announced. For more on Battlefield 1, check out what we know about its campaign andmultiplayer modes, as well as the first screenshots and how to get early access to the full game.
