when i try to connect to ta server i get cannot connect this server is operating a diffrent protocol. note i am trying to log on from won and not steam.

oh goodie i dont need steam to play fa? cause i keep getting a version mismatch error even though i ran the 2.9 install with patch

is the 2.9 only on steam? cause i am unable to login to steam with my cd key because a long time ago i registered an account with name and my cdkey but i no longer have that email. it also seems kinda crazy to send steam you're cd key just to have them reset it for you. btw what mods is everyone playing the most lately? it doesnt seem firearms is to popular from all the other mod postings i read :/

personally every mod is diffrent. to judge a mod vs another mod is idiocy in true form, and why do i say this? reasons being every mod is always gonna have flaws and such that people hate, but also depends on what type of game the consumer i.e you are into. say for instance someone who likes racing games is gonna knock on a game like dod cause there is no racing. now if you cannot see my point in this ill say this in lamens terms for the hardheads.CS is not DoD, and DoD is not CS simple as that so to compare 2 totally diffrent mods based on 2 diffrent situations = idiotic.

i like imknifes played with him many times, and still like him as a player and a person. sure everyone complains about how good he is but ohwell. i seen him get his ass whooped on a server to so everyone has a good or bad day.
