  1. Hmm, did Razor end up with the Belkin Nostromo? Looks like a fancier version of the n52 that I have. I love it since I can basically remap most games to use the same key positions and don't have to learn new habits. I tend to use the thumb buttons for things like jump/parachute, map, scoreboard, and fire mode. The main pad is standard movement, reload in the normal places. The "reach" keys on the edges are for switching to gadgets. I sometimes use the mode changing to have different keys for vehicles. Do let us know what you think... I may have to replace my n52 since the keys are getting a bit finicky with age.
  2. Never fails.. you get all ready for a gal to come visit and she goes elsewhere.. We had a new generator, food, gas, water, batteries, and more and we only got a little rain and winds < 35 here in Durham. The poor folks down east got hit hard though. Glad I don't have a boat docked close to New Bern anymore... 11 foot wind tides would have been hell on the dock lines.. might have even floated some of the boats in the dockyard.
  3. Or wanted to make up for his lost bonus because he knew the game would be delayed... lol
  4. IMHO - Battlefield 4 lasting because of rental servers is what is causing EA to drag its feet on rentals... they want to have a new game money machine that they can control by sunsetting games, e.g. shutting down servers they own. The rest is obviously a case of marketing deciding features with yes person development managers. Seen it a lot of time with tech projects. Either no one believes the developers saying we can't do this in the time or the developer rep not wanting to impose reality on upper management. My guess is that they will also encourage Premium Access as a pay to play method by charging for some of the 'promised' features unless you have it. Every game company is envious of the WoW model where people keep paying for a game. Not that that would be bad.. if they committed to a strong permanent bug / feature team that would add new maps to a game every month, I would probably pay for that. Its one reason I played CoD2 for years. All the custom maps and servers rotating them.
  5. Personally, I'm waiting for the BFV half price sales that will come out a month after launch..lol
  6. Sigh, and they had to add the CoD Nuke option with rockets... Not playing it if they have unstoppable killing streak machines like BF1. Every other BF game, the tanks, etc had weaknesses like one person C4 kills or weak spot to target.. not BF1.. Don't even get me started on the horses..
  7. Whoot.. got an invite to this Alpha... Preloaded, locked and loaded.
