Battlefield 3 before Christmas. Definately not. Maybe Heroes because it was supposed to be released during the summer. If they used the frostbite engine then I would hope it look alot better with all of the AA on the computer because it looks really unrefined as of now.

I tried it yesterday. I have to admit I had some fun playing it. It's nice to see a HL2 mod come out once in a while.

I have to use a nocd crack with my laptop because for some reason it only likes to work on my desktop Ever since I installed the newest patch my ingame fps is now stuck at 15.0, I have a 6800 Ultra and I used to get 70-90fps before this patch I even reinstalled the game to see if that would work but it didn't

Since BF2 is unstable and likes to crash, it crashed right at the end of a round. It announced that my team won. If I made to that part, would my stats from that game count? If my game crashed right after it announced that the MEC won the game?

Nope didn't work the 6600GT wasn't included in the supported chipset list that may be the problem If thats the case then EA better get their heads out of the ground.

Ok so I settled the issues with Best Buy and I installed the game and the new drivers. I click on any one of the shortcuts and the game won't start up. This happened with the demo too. I pre-ordered BF2 from best buy and I went to pick it up today. They gave me the DVD-rom version instead of the CD-rom version. When I told them I don't have a DVD-rom, they said they don't have the cd-rom version. So I asked if I could give it back to them and get my money back. They wouldn't. The game wasn't opened or damaged. They were just being jerks and I know the Best Buy policy and this was not following it.

I just wish that they weren't beta drivers.

I'm not gonna install the drivers that came with it. I'm not a fan of beta drivers. Unless they are necessary?

I was looking at the video cards supported by BF2 on a website and I noticed how there is no support for the 6600 line. I've got a 6600GT, does that mean I won't be able to play BF2 until they release a patch that supports it?

I Pre-Ordered it at a local best buy store because I wanted the free headset. Will I get the game before most of the other customers do?

I have a 6600GT from MSI and I love it. I run Doom 3, Half Life 2, and Farcry at 1024x768 on the highest detail settings with at least 60fps.

I think my compy can handle it, I just recently upgraded its video card and ram. I can run Doom 3, Farcry, and Half Life 2 on the their highest settings with over 60fps so I'm hoping BF2 will run well. A very big release of PoE came out yesterday. I recommend it as usual. www.pointofexistence.com This is the final release for PoE BFV. It is now for BF2 and it will be a completely different mod and storyline. The countries(as of now) will be the U.S., Russia, Ukraine, and the German Bundeswehr. As well as bringing a wealth of wonderful new toys, the new locations (Ukraine and Kazakhstan) will allow a wide variety of terrains and environment types, from snow to beaches to deserts and grassland 'steppes.

I've got mine locked at 800x600 100 refresh rate use that res for everything I usually have my desktop at 1024x768

It is at default right now 500mhz core and 1.01Ghz memory I get great performance at those settings, so I might leave for the time being. I'll probably overclock when BF2 comes out.

Its working great. I just have a question. I set its memory clock to 1000mhz where its at with PCIX cards. If I set the core and memory with optimal frequencies will that still harm the card because it is still overclocking? Are the optimal frequencies where the card has the best performance without compensating too much cooling?

ok I got everything today and everything is working except for one thing After I rebooted, I got a message saying that the video card (6600GT) wasn't receiving enough power and was operating at a lower level. I have a 420watt power supply and this card says it only needs a 350watt. Why is this happening? I do have 6 case fans. Could that be it. I've never gotten this message before. There was an outlet in the back of the card but I think that was only for SLI. Should I unplug some of the usb devices that I don't use that often?

With those 2 sticks I'd have 2 gigs but I'm taking the PC2700 stick out so I'll have 1500mb running at 400mhz
