  3. i am somewhat a storm tracker and have been since was a little kid.... id say that this little storm is gonna turn NO, LA in to a soup bowl...... personally, im hoping it makes it to DE as a cat 1
  4. my dad was the same way... i ignored most of it my entire life. now i sit a month and a half over 18 and i look back, ignoring ti was the best way to do it... no troubles no worries.
  5. i had no i dea it wa sky, im not around her often enough to keep up with name changes. i know ive argued with him. Ky some scientist still believe that i was taught in high school that it is both, but also that some scientist are figthing for one solid stance on either or. yo usound a lot like my teacher and now that you repeat it i remember a lot. i still think that your literal and correct sense of explanation will confuse some. such as the difference between the temperature and the reason it is the temp. maybe i can ask you for help when i start school? now that i know who you are i may just bow down and let you take it away... that and i am about to start college soon and i can't keep visiting this thread. :peace: gg Ky
  6. musa, there are still some scientist that would argue it never ended. STP has complete control over the results of the movement of matter and the energy contained there in. http://www.usbyte.com/common/approximate_wavelength.htm How old are you Musa?
  7. righto, the rest of it is your standard set of rule when looking at matter. However, the question still remains, is light a particle or a wave? The debate continues. A lab in the Midwest attempting to reach absolute zero noticed they can also slow down light. What is light? (Electromagnetic radiation of any wavelength) the color spectrum is a great example of the speeds. While some are noticeable and some are not, the various wavelengths are such because they travel at a different frequency. The speed of light in the STP (standard temperature and pressure) conditions will mostly remain constant. However, in computers and other imperfect conditions, the speed of light is actually slowed down, do to fiber channeling. The reason there are different levels of fiber optics (not to mention pipe size) A little history for our readers: http://www.colorado.edu/physics/2000/bec/temperature.html http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/254305.stm time for work
  8. Well, I guess there are those who hide in the shadows and wait for someone to say something they didn't know. Then, they attack them for speaking in a syntax that online gamers use and understand. In the sense of lacking grammar, punctuation, and full sentences and words. It's still nice to know that not all of America, or the world for that matter have gone down the hole and lost any sense of correct communication. Thanks Haya
  9. are you serious? when particles are cooled it slows them down (rememebr the direct corralation between heat and energy) when heat(energy) is addd they are excited and speed up intheir collisions and velocity.
  10. as proven with nearly anything else..... slowing down by freezing can increase speed by increasing heat, or energy. sorry i guess i took basic chemistry for granted
  11. did you just tell scientist they are wrong? a few years ago they proved that it can be slowed down by freezing particles around it, part of the absolute zero and quantum computer projects
  12. rubble is by far the most fun sniper map
  13. if im gona for a few days i don't even bother looking at missed posts, too much to catch up on

  18. i love the team figthing style of Joint Operations, i wish it was more like that.... when srt played on a server together we covered many angles and usually turned the tides... not too much team work i see on BF2 from others thoguh.
  19. which opinion mine about you or mine about the movie? Sam i could really care less about what you think. But you know it's cool that you stil lvoice your opinion... where would we be today without that freedom?
  20. sam i can see though your voice doesn't make you sound 12 years old anymore... you are.
