  1. its a geforce card, just go to nvidia and download from there. and most drivers are manipulated by the manufacturer that makes the card. but i never have run into any problems using the plain detonator drivers directly from nivida.
  2. i use it extensively with friends playing fa, daoc, etc...the sound is very clear, like a good set of walkie talkies. easy to use and setup. one person starts a channel and the rest connect to his ip and specific channel name. its free to. i recommend it over any other voice chat program
  3. ask around the south about chittlins, i cant stand em but some ppl eat themwierdest thing i ever ate would be snake meat i reckon, rattlesnake in particularalthough its not uncommon to eat frog meat and other things yankees consider weird

this setup requires a proxy, so you would need an extra host (pc). i dont think it matters where it is, but it will need its own ip address for others to connect to spectate. this additional pc will connect to the halflife server when you run hltv and those who wish to spectate will need the ip of the extra computer to join in and watch.if you rent a server you would have to rent an extra ip and another computer to go with it, however if the bandwidth need isnt great you should be able to run hltv from a home computer if you have a good broadband connection with a fast uploadoh if u guys run a linux server you might not need anything extra, since the hltv uses a different port to connect all you have to do is run hltv in a background process and use the same ip as ur server with a port of 27020

i would love to watch a game where the people actually worked as teams, seeing people running around like headless chickens would be less fun, but still something to do heh
  7. im not trying to complicate anything, i know the realism cant be true to life, i was just trying to make a point that just because the sniper isnt seen, doesnt automatically mean he is exploiting.and they are called guillie suits, hand made by the sniper, very cool stuff. they even allow for customization so that if the sniper has to move into a different area with subtle color differences they can use the local flora and add it to the suit to blend in.
  8. so i guess realism is out the window here huh? i mean being a sniper is actually just as much about NOT being seen as being able to shoot well. so if you actually accomplish this you are now an exploiter?long ago on rare days when i was actually doing pretty well in a game, i've been accused of helmet camming, but i never knew exactly what it was and nobody would explain it to me.
  9. i play cuz, well i havent actually played in awhile, but when i do its cuz there isnt any other game/mod out there thats as much fun to me.i get bored with it every once in awhile and take a extended break, like now, but i come back ready to be shot in the head again sooner or later.
  10. eminem better watch out, this guy is in prime position to take his place hehe
  11. the alpha was kinda bad, but it was still used as a guage. the graphics are intense if set full on and its gonna take a great machine to run it at 60+ fps with all options turned on, however i dont think the requirement will be over 1.5ghz to run it with some of the options turned off. the 3ghz "requirement" is just what id wants for the game, not what itll require. they want it to be able to have the ability to take full advantage of a 3ghz or higher machine.i dont know which im more excited over, doom 3 or half life 2.
  12. doom3 is simply optimized for the best graphics card out at the moment, currently its ati's. as for the ppl who bought half life for the mods... just play it. i have played through halflife and the expansions at least 15 times, all the way through. i was hooked from the very first moment i installed it. how are you supposed to demand more from your video games if ya never played one of the greatest ever made? its definately worth the time to play through it at least once.
  13. well its hard to tell from the pictures. there is alot more detail in the shaping of faces, vertices. i will be upset if its not on par with doom3, but since i've been waiting for hl-2 since 1998 or so i will buy it and i will play it until my fingers bleed.
  14. i settled for posting the fastest one i had. the rest of mine are all p3's or lower
