Ever read the newspaper? Normally, you can find most of the key info in the first paragraph of the story. In the first paragraph you will find who, what, when, where, how, and why. That's 5 W's and an H. After that is the details or filler of the story. Then the end of the story / closing. I found a lack of info and some confusion about the organizing of scrims. Here are some things need answered before any scrims: * Who we are scrimaging with? * Who are the primary, secondary, and standby participants from our clan? * What weapons are those participants using? * Is it a scrimage, match, a friendly game, or something else? * Date of the scrimage? * Time of the scrimage? * Which server will it be on and what is the password? * Which maps will be played? * What plan of attack and defense do we have for the maps? * Is there a reason we are having the scrim - "grudge match", etc. * The chain of command of who is playing needs to be established prior to the scrim. These need to be answered before the scrim. In an organized, calculated way. Not 5 minutes before in a frenzy. Preferably it should be clearly known all the details above 48 - 72 hours before the event. Both clans should post in the other clans forums about the specifics of the clan (when, where, how many on each team, which maps, etc) along with a reply/acknowlegement of the other clans posting about the scrim. Here's a recap of what we need to improve: * Chain of command and communication * Scrim details * Scrim training * Weapons tryouts and training*****I hope this helps improve the scrim organization for both of our clans
