I got it off of fileplanet, only took 18min for my DL to start, not bad. The mod is awesome. It beats the hell out of AA, however i noticed that when you run into objects the movement gets a little funky. But i just had a funny and yet really cool moment in game where i was behind a car, saw someone and started shooting at them through the windows of the car when i kinda missed, hit the car and the ricochet from my own bullet killed a teammate that was behind me lol.

"The plan is to finish the mod tonight, for a tomorrow launch. I hope to see you guys on IRC for release" Taken right from the mouth of Jeremy (the mod leader). This statement was made today.

I was in the alpha test and i'll be in the closed beta that's coming up soon.

Yeah the only thing bad about AA is that it's round based like counter strike and the rounds are anywhere from 8-10 min long, except for the SF maps which are like 2-3 min long. It's very different from most FPS's.

Wow, that is an old roster. It brings back a lot of memories and i wounder where some of those guys are today.

OK ok so it's been 4 years and 9 some odd months...hair splitters. But it's just awesome that The Armory has been around for so long.

I just happen to look over at my join date of these forums after all this time and notice that I've been around since march 2003, and i think to myself "holy balls, has it really been 5 years??" I'm amazed that any online community can keep together and game for this long. Just go's to show ya how much we love this community and how much we love gaming with each other.

The guys over at Fortress Forever have released the first game play video featuring Dustbowl Valley, a new twist on TFC's dustbowl map. I'm on BurningBlade, but i'm not sure how much longer i'll be playing.

Just wait untill the guys at Kustom Kettle start pumping out custom maps for source, some of the people there are really good map makers.
