never buy a whole comp from one place, expesially from gateway. buy your comp in pieces from several vendors. find out what you want, do some research for the lowest prise on each component (should take 9hrs or so) then buy. problem solves....unless you fry something when you turn you comp on.

listen, no mater what pci card you get it will still be worse then any agp card. the reason- pci only lets so much data in and out to the mobo, agp lets about 4 times the amount of info to and from the mobo than a pci. pci express on the other had is about 3 times faster then agp. if you have the money to buy a pci X800 then you have the money to buy a new mobo with a cpu and ram. hell you might be able to get a cheap agp card to go with it.i did overclock my pci 9200 with softmod drivers or whatever you call them. i overclocked the core from 200 to about 268. i didn't touch the memory b/c when i did the thing became unstable.
