Calling all old schoolers....
Hey guys, sorry about the window span in between visits. I have just been more overly busy and sidetracked with other things. I don't play games much anymore on pc. I have a laptop, but I have kind of moved to console. otherwise School has been my biggest nemesis most recently along with working out. A friend decided he want to try a triathlon, I was stupid and said if he was actually going to do it, I be right there with him. Three days later he says hes going to.... Shoot me now! lol Nah, it should be a fun experience. I'm just worried about the swimming part. I should be able to make it through though. Anyway, um if you guys are on XBOX or PS3 my ID for both is Phrogg22. Hit me up if you wanna play gears of war, bf3, or some game when it comes out.

What the Violent Game Law Means
Because it is the highest selling game out there, and it is considered to be a violent game.

What the Violent Game Law Means
Just curious as to what you guys think. The original title of this had Call of Duty in it. As in what would this law to do the Call of Duty series. As in sales might decrease as some stores might question carrying the game. I know Wal-mart never used to carry games that had sexually explicit scenes. Well the one where I lived didn't. Besides carrying the game. If a minor did buy the game, the store could be fined $1000 dollars. Either way though, I know now a days most stores where I live will not sell a mature game to anyone under 17-18 years old. So what is this law for? I kinda find it to be just another the law to make money for the state. Ironically the law is trying to be passed in one of the poorest state. California. Coincidence? lol If you guys do watch the video. I would really like to see some of the "highly scientific studies" they did, and what made any one of those studies "highly scientific"?

What the Violent Game Law Means
A proposed law restricting the sale of violent games could have a great impact on the future of Activision's popular shooter franchise. George Rose, Activision Blizzard Executive VP and Chief Public Policy Officer, claims the publisher would no longer be able produce the hit Call of Duty series if the Supreme Court deems a 2005 law to be constitutional, making it illegal for retailers to sell violent games to minors and impose $1,000 fines for each violation in California. The Supreme Court heard oral arguments this past November regarding the proposed law. A decision has not been reached. "What would happen is that Call of Duty would then carry on it a 'restricted' category, no store in this country would carry that game, and the game would never be made. Period. End of question." Rose stated during a debate titled "Do Video Games Cause Violence" held at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco last night. Rose claims that Activision Blizzard looks to fire any retail clerk that sells one of the publisher's M rated games to someone under the age of 17. "We've had store clerks fired and we improved those particular stores where there were incidents, but to be blunt about it, we had people fired," he said. Rose was then asked by moderator John Diaz of the San Francisco Chronicle why a law that restricts the sale of Call of Duty to minors would affect Activision's business model when the publisher doesn't want to sell to minors in the first place. From Left to Right - Jim Steyer, George Rose, and Michael McConnell "In addition to the little 'scarlet letter' placed on the box, there's also a $1,000 fine per each unit sold. Last time I looked, there were about 5 million units sold [of Call of Duty: Black Ops] in California, so that number times $1,000, that's a lot of money to put on the line," Rose explained. Fellow panelist Jim Steyer, Founder and CEO of Common Sense Media, and an advocate of the bill, challenged Rose on his claim, saying Activision is going to make $500 million in the process and that there's no way the publisher would pull those games off store shelves. "Of course I would," responded Rose. "It's chilling the speech and it wouldn't be even our speech, it would be chilling the speech of everybody else. In the process, it's going to result in fewer games and jobs in this state." Rose also brought up the Motion Picture Association Of America (MMPA) rating's system used for films. "May I remind you what happened to NC-17? That was supposed to be an alternative to the X-rated movie," he said. "And in that case it was supposed to allow films that depict controversial subjects to find their way into movie theaters and stores, and guess what happened?" "Nobody wants to show them in theaters or carry them in stores like Walmart, and therefore there are no NC-17 mainstream movies." An archived video of the entire hour-long debate can be found on the Commonwealth Club's Livestream channel.

So I played some CoD4 today...
I had a kit named anti-hack, created just for that purpose.

So I played some CoD4 today...
I always enjoyed switching to the team with the hacker and using a claymore to kill them. I'd plant the claymore, switch teams, and the claymore would switch with me and the hacker would move and die. They would get so pissed off at me, it was great.

Beat this!!!
Thats kind of cool.... I just hope it lives up to all the hype. I saw MOH the other day and was not impressed with the single player at all.

I don't understand....
no he doesn't work for them at all. He just kind of lives up here.

I don't understand....
You have no idea how much I would love to do that to this guy shotty. As far as my boss goes, she is afraid of him as well, although she won't admit it. This guy is another drug addict. He doesn't get his way he throws a fit, amazing at buttering people up. When he got in my face the second time, it was like arguing with a 5 year old. Then his latest threat was to tell me not to go behind the bar again that is up the street. Problem is I know the owner to that place pretty well, since when I did the bar gig, I ordered over $300+ in liquor every week. I asked him he said he didn't know what I was talking about. Every time I see this guy it gets harder and harder to deal with it. Its like a pesky fly that won't go away.

I don't understand....
This is going to be a bit of a rant... I'm in school for police science, so don't go assuming I think I have a thing against cops. Here it goes. I have a neighbor, who lives right next door to me, and he is simply not a good person...lol The place where I live and work has had nothing wrong until he moved up there. Since then, the restaurant has been burglarized multiple times, he has threatened me at least three times, and there is usually an order of "pot" coming from his place. I know this because we share the same air unit. It sucks in cold air from his place as well as mine. So yes, he is a drug addict and probably still a dealer considering the people that go to his door. Well here is my problem with the cops in my town. First time he threatens me it was indirect. I was on the other side of the door and he was trying to break into the other apartment where he felt he could store his stuff. Well the owners didn't like that so they had me change the lock. Needless to say, he wasn't happy. Second time, he threatens me to my face in front of a friend. So, I head down to the police station to report and see what they can do. They say I need, actual proof or recording of it, and I should carry a recorder around with me at all times. ok, whatever. I ask them about the pot. They say to call them if I ever smell it again. ok... Well then another cop comes in who is very familiar with my neighbor. The first thing he says about him is that he has never seen anyone with a criminal record as long as his, without being in jail still. He shows me his record. If this guy gets one more domestic assault charge, drug charge, or harassment charge, he is off to jail. This guy's record has been on going since the 80's and before. Definitely a repeat offender damn near everything...lol Moving on, one night I smell pot. I call the cops. A sheriff and officer come up to my apartment. They smell it strong, and I say it is really strong underneath the vent. Indicating it is still burning. Well they obviously search my place and nothing. Which only leaves the apartment to check. They say they can't check it with out a warrant even though they have probable cause/reasonable suspicion to atleast open the door from what I understand. Well they come up with so many scenearios to say they can't. ok you tell me to call you if I smell it and I do, then nothing happens... what was the point? This summer I befriended some people who have had a past with this guy. My friend's wife is this guy's sister. To the point, this guy has literally threatened them and pointed guns at them and their friends. No proff so cops can't do anything. Well one night he just started texting them. He sent over 40 some texts telling them in detail what he was going to do. They go to the cops with this, thinking they finally have proof to get rid of this guy. They want restraining order and this would have been enough to put him away. Well, next day nothing happens and all his threats via texts, stop. They haven't heard from him since. Yes, they are pissed that nothing has happened to him still. Then recently someone stole the 40" sony from the restaurant. My boss calls me, I leave the dinner i'm at and head straight over wondering what the hell is going on. Get there and fingers are instantly being pointed at me by this guy. Yes, I have a key to the place, but why would I take their tv when I watch it every day that I work there. Anyway the cop that showed up was the same one that I went to when he threatened me, so he knows me. He pulls me aside and asked what was that guy doing there. I tell him I have no idea. Then he asks if I can come up to the station afterwards to talk about it more. I say ok. I offer the cop to search my place, and the cop says i'll do that. Then the cop asked him if he could search his place. You could just see the look on his face change. He was not happy but he said ok. Nothing was found in either. Not surprised. After things calm down at the restaurant. I head over to the police station. Start talking to the cop. He asked me about him, and I just said. I'm going to be honest. I ask how this guy is not in jail. He just goes what? I ask him again. I say you showed me his report, and this guy is still on the streets. Then I also mention my friends that brought in the texts from him, and how nothing happened with that. Other then that for some reason they haven't heard from him for over 6 months. I just say, is there someone in here protecting his ass because the rumor is that there is. Mainly because he is a huge snitch from what the entire town says. Cop just says, "You think someone working here is protecting him." Yup, otherwise how do you explain why nothing has happened to him about the drugs and his threats on people. Specially when my friends had solid proof/evidence that it was him. He just says I don't know, but I need to go to get some work done... Since that night, he has threatened me again. For something that he wasn't even apart of or well so I thought. I thought about calling the cops again, but I was just like what would be the point... Like I said, i'm in school to become a cop, but it is really hard to continue because I look at this and it just makes me sick to think about it. This guy who has threatened by either gun point, texts, or verbal is still not in jail. Not to mention the multiple drug charges and domestic assault charges. I really don't understand... Ok, i'm done... sorry for the long rant...

insanity by beach body
I have not done it, but I did P90x for a little while. Then i got tired of the comments he made, and some of the work-out routines were just useless. If your not in "ok" shape though, Insanity is going to kill you the first couple times of doing it. One of the biggest things to remember is, eat HEALTHY and control how much you eat. Never eat till your full. Keep it up though and you should start seeing results. From what i've seen of it, It is more of a just an all out cardio work-out. So make sure getting a good dose of fruits and veggies to provide you energy. Your body may not change much the first week because it will be adjusting to everything. Oh, and it seems odd, but do before and after pics of your body. It will help you see how you progress through the weeks and also server as motivation for you.

EA to Charge You $10 to Play Used Sports Online
Hopefully this will apply only to sports games In an effort to capture additional revenue from a resale of a videogame, EA Sports is putting in place a system whereby secondhand owners of a game needs to spend an extra $10 to play online. Dubbed the "Online Pass" from EA Sports, it rewards game owners of new copies with a game-specific, one-time-use registration code for online services, features and bonus content. This applies regardless if the game is played over the free PSN or the paid Xbox Live Gold services. This will start with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11. The one-time Online Pass registration code comes included with each unit sold new at retail. Once redeemed, additional Online Passes will be available for $10 ? basically for anyone who gets to play the game after the original owner. Fans also may sign up for a free 7-day trial to experience Online Pass, which will be handy for those who borrow or rent the game on a short-term basis. "This is an important inflection point in our business because it allows us to accelerate our commitment to enhance premium online services to the entire robust EA Sports online community," said Peter Moore, President of EA Sports. While EA's effort to discourage used game sales (which could devalue a used game by $10) would logically upset companies that make lots of money from used games, GameStop doesn't seem all that displeased as now it has a new opportunity to sell special PSN and MS Points cards. "GameStop is excited to partner with such a forward-thinking publisher as Electronic Arts," said Dan DeMatteo, Chief Executive Officer of GameStop Corp. "This relationship allows us to capitalize on our investments to market and sell downloadable content online, as well as through our network of stores worldwide." -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I hope this does only apply to sport games and continues to only apply to them. I do find it funny how gamestop is partnering up with them. Both the companies are rip offs. I wonder if instead of buying a used game for $54 from gamespot, it will be down to $44 or lower for the sport games. Since you will have to pay an extra $10 dollars for the online now. Not to mention how this may effect game fly, or other major video game renting services. What happens when you want to rent the game again, or keep it longer then 7 days?

Bad Company 2 R10 Balance Changelist
What the hell did they do to this game? This is the second time i've played it since the patch came out, and i'm finding it not to be very enjoyable. Mainly because you can't knife anyone no more. I thought it might have been the servers i've been playing in, but for it to happen multiple times on different servers. I can't say it is. I came up behind a guy with the lmg kit, and he was just firing away. I thought it was a good opportunity for a knife. Boy was I wrong. I sat there right next to him, knifed him 4 F-ING TIMES!!! then some one just shoots me with a 40mm grenade and I die. Other times I would be on my third hit of the knife, nothing. Anyone else having this problem?

Bad Company 2 change log
As long as people are not running around with the 40mm grenade launcher as their primary, i'm ok with it. As well as the carl gustov as their primary weapon.
- Platinum!!!!

Quick Lesson on tracer darts.
the carl fires just like a gun almost anyway. There really is no need to lock on. Thats why people use it all the time as an infantry killer.

New York Times Sides with Bad Company 2
Its really just a matter of opinion. That and just like anything, MW2 was the best when it came out, and now BFC2 they say is the best. It will always go back and forth. It would be really interesting for someone to go into detail about each game and how they perform. I wonder which game would come out on top?
