Sand Of War 1.4 Released (News comment)
Its an actaul weapon but i forget where i saw it, though i think the magazine is wrong.I've played this one before and was disappointed. The maps were crappy, the effects were non existant and the gameplay was always unbalanced. This is one of those mods that has some good potential if they could just get better mappers, along with a few other things.I'm gonna give this version a try but i doubt it will be any different from the other 3 version.

FA just needs to fade out, then die and never mentioned again. I think the problem with FA is that the community in general doesn't do anything for the mod. The mappers seem to be a nice bunch and i owe alot to a few of them, but the rest need to chill and not take everything personallyThey don't listen to what the community wants. We wanted the weapons balanced, so they make it worse. We wanted new weapons, so they add them, but screwed everything else up in the process. If FA is any indication of what jungle mist will be, it'll have a loyal following but will never make it bigFA:Revival is a bad idea, even if its not by the original team.

My impression of cs:source - an already bad game wrapped in a different package. They couldn't even add new weapons. The maps are nicer, the models are slick but that's about where it ends for me. The gameplay is faster but more predictable. There's only so many routes you can take before u go back. They decreased some weapon's accuracy while increasing others. Don't know y they did it, but they decreased the scope fade-in to almost bullet time.I still play it, but that's only because hl2dm is even worse.

CD always has a problem when a new steam patch comes out. Just shut off cd until there's an update.CD has been maintained by UA since i can remember. Were you talking about the blacklist?

20k users, wow. 20,000 less idiots to worry about.A hl2 version that doesn't use steam? can't play online, so they are stuck playing with themselves anyways.I'm glad valve is finally doing something about this. Now if they can do something about the cheating.

Mazor left the FA team? he's the main coder though. Guess FA 3 won't be released anytime soon then, if ever.Looking foward to JM though. looks interesting from what i've read.

Its the last for this map. Think i got all the bugs exterminated this time. the major problem is fixed so now when the reins hits 0, everyone won't die when they spawn.Gonna concentrate on HL2 now when i get it.

Ok, here i go.... My final incarnation of this map. Thank you to everyone who played it and gave feedback. Overall changes. The trainyard wall was retextured noclayzones were added to both spawns the map was lightened up abit lights were added around the red spawn area better cover was added to the red spawn area all but 1 vent was made breakable more bandages few more ammo boxes in the spawns spawn points were moved around and spread out routes were moved / taken out detailed textures added new overview clip brushes over the train cars extended upwards more hills by the train cars moved back abit blue objective crates moved red spawn reworked sprites placed above the objectives for both sides additional train cars added the 0 reinforcement system was taken out Barring any glaring errors, this will be the final release.
