hey guys. im back once again. some of you may remember me. im currently listed in the roster as an inactive member. just thought id explain what happened. i was part of a community called nwg. then one day the community just went down for some unknown reason. the servers, the webpage everything. and after trying to get a hold of my friend (the owner) for some months i decided to look for a new community. thats when my friend the unflushable introduced me to you guys. and i loved it here. i stayed until one day my friend from nwg returned. and explained to me what happened. and as the nwg community came back online i migrated back over there. but anyways long story short. the few of us left at nwg are hard into bf2. and since you are all a great bunch of people. we will help you guys out by frequenting your server when we play. there is only about 5 of us who play frequently. so we wont bog it down. but may help create a bigger fan base with you guys. maybe even set up some scrims or something in the future. look forward to gaming with you guys tonight. we'll be on at around 6 pm pst!!!!

make sure you motherboard supports the type ur trying to get. for instance supplying us with the motherboard type etc. we can help you further. because if you get something faster than 2100 and use it with that 2100 stick the faster stuff will only run as fast as the slower stuff. so if you want the 1 gb, try to get something along the same lines as ur current. google - cpuz it will help you with information about your computer.

boxing day, is a canadian day, where stores have big sales to get ride of the overkill of stock that they brought in for the holiday season. so that they can make room for the new stuff coming out. its quite nice, cause we usually get up to 50% off depending what it is especially electronics

chronicles of riddick is a really good movie. i kinda like the futuristic type stuff. the video game is pretty cool as well.

Its true they arent as good for gaming. per say. but the newer ones with 12ms response time and a good contrast ratio, are fairing up quite nicely. they are also better for your eyes. save space. and just look a whole lot more crisp. and to tell you the truth the performance difference is not that noticeable anyways -clothes -ps2 slim -gta vice city (came with ps2) -chronicles of riddick, spiderman-2 was a pretty good xmas my buddy is buying me a beer fridge for xmas hahaha WOOT! merry xmas everyone

where do u get the cool fonts from? do u download a font pack? just curious cause id like to start making new sigs

Good points made by all. I've played farcry and hl2/css. but havent seen doom3. as of now Hl2/css : physics, model faces, explosions, flashbangs, water FarCry : terrain, audio, stability Doom3 : no opinion as of yet The advantage i see in farcry is its ability to be played on a wide variety of machines. and quite smoothly at that. hl2 / css still seems to be having issues with this. which requires the use of console commands to fix.

So the other night when i was having fps problems. it turned out that last weekend my buddy was playing on my computer. and changed one setting in my video settings. he changed reflect world to reflect all. I never use that command so i thought it was where it was supposed to be. but it turns out that was the problems. switching that back, using game accelerator, and using 1280x960 res. i pounded out up to 260fps average of 120 stable

Im gonna give game accelerator another shot after work. i have a feeling i didnt use it properly. i will also check out major geeks see whats cracking over there. that is weird bout your fps. its strange how that happens in certain areas. u should be able to handle 1024 in medium settings. especially after you get 512 more ram. a regular on the other server i play on / administrate was trying to help me out with my problem last night. he gave me the following commandsmat_bumpmap 0 and mat_specular 0 (not sure of the spelling of the second one, the console will pop it up when u type mat_spe)i dont know what those two commands do, but it didnt take away any eye candy and seemed a bit smoother.

I agree with Shotty. from what i have seen in my short time of playing on your server. The rules seem to be rather well followed with the exception of the odd punk that connects thinking its cool to cause havoc. i say leave the spectate mode alone. Its always fun to kill someone, especially when they are ghosting and you know it haha. make em look bad :Dbut yeah i dont really have a say. just thought id express my opinion. oh and lastly. i think de_cbble should be in the rotation. it seems to keep the server full, and is a pretty smooth map performance wise. just my $0.02

wow. may i ask what your system specs are? and or how you managed that? im assuming one of the following graphics cards6800gt, ultrax800pro, xt, xtpedo i assume correct?hopefully mine will be the same by xmas :Du are also looking at the floor. what are your fps in combat situations. or heavy ambiance?

How did those cat 4.12 drivers work for you unwanted? any increase in fps? I have tested the following drivers in the last couple nights4.10, 4.11, 4.12, and the omegas. 4.12 seems to give the 9800pro the best performance. also depending on which 9800 pro u have. Look at the arctic cooler. The stock cooling on some 9800pros isnt that great. after a few test last night and a couple of hours of ripping my hair out haha. i found that running at 1280x960 was more stable then any other resolution which is weird. but meh haha. i uninstalled game accelerator it didnt agree with my system.

Censorship should be outlawed! But yeah anyway i hate when sites get blocked etc. sucks even more when u get caught in class and end up having to stay after hahaa happened to me on many occasions but now that im out of school doesnt really apply anymore haha

well another night of good gaming, i was on the tac server tonight as i had a good number of close friends wanting to play and not enough room on the tac server for all of em. but i did notice my fps were insanely low so im gonna try out game accelerator now.

I beleive you can either go into device manager and check it through there. or display properties and go to settings advanced and click on the tab with your video card listed. im on a comp with an nvidia gpu so i'll let ya know when i get back on my computer. also what speed ram is your computer capable of? if you dont know what motherboard do you have. or what model number if its a prebuilt like dell hp etc. what amd cpu is that 3200+? if so your ram is either pc2700 or pc3200

Creative also has one thats comparable to the ipod from what i have heard. im not sure bout the price though.
