Hmm...suppose I could be nice and post a bit about myself. I'm originally from a little village outside of Pretoria, South Africa...I came to this country about 7 years ago with my parents when Dad got a job offer from the US Dept. of Energy. I'm currently a pure mathematics major at the University of Tennessee, with a speciality in hyperbolic geometry and topology. I hope to just teach mathematics for the rest of my days. I enjoy a good round of golf, football (both American and actual), baseball, and cinema.

It wasn't so much the filter thing that bugged me. I was more curious about that than anything. It was the ban threat that truly bothered me, but I discussed the situation with Disposable_Hero earlier. He explained to me what he was trying to do, and I probably just jumped to some rash conclusions that made sense only to me. It looked like by changing his name to mine, he was trying to coerce me into changing mine to his...which is apparently a bannable offense since people yelled BAN a lot when I did. So, to me at least, it looked like Hero was trying to get me banned. My mistake...Sorry. I'll try not to chat as much when I play now, seems to do me a bit better. edit: Steel mill, eh? Rough stuff...my father worked in a textiles factory in Tshwane for years. I'm just a bookworm...

Tonight...one example of many. Disposable Hero changed his name to mine, and I to his. I was threatened with a ban in about 3 seconds...but Hero not once was asked to change his name back. Kept playing with my name for several rounds. The filter argument, which I dropped, is still a sound argument. I think a list should be posted about what cannot be said. Beyond the obvious expletives, which I've never uttered on the server (save the occasional gay reflex reaction say), there are several words that I can honestly use in polite conversation and get kicked for. Just minor annoyances, really...I'm thinking about just unbinding my chat key to give you chaps no reason to talk to me. I'm sure it'd cheer Basald up a little bit. edit: I muted Radioactive a long time ago.

Hi guys...Friendly neighborhood prime number here. Just thought I'd post here since I'm mutually disliked by <TAC> and the rest of the crew that plays CS:S on your server, and therefore I can give you chaps another medium on which to ridicule me knowing I can't retaliate or face "teh ban stick." Glutton for punishment? Probably... edit: I can't spell when I'm annoyed.
