ok this is not trying to insult your inteligence or anything but after you uninstalled steam and all that did you delete ALL of the files and folders?i had to.i wiped all of HL from my hard drive,all of it. and started with a clean dl of everything.i have the counterstrike retail version of hl and can give anyone who has that version instructions to get a working copy of steam and fa. Just pm me and i will try to help.Unwanted i think you should stay out of this since you are doing not a thing to help

POSSABLE FIXES: 1. update CD you version 4.5.1 to get and stay in the armory 2. it is BEST to download the 2.8 FULL version, for some reason or another it works better. i will try to find the fixes everyone needs as i come across your posts good luck :!: EDIT: when you get the [=green]Ticket Error you mst likely just need to relog in with steam, to do this; A. exit out of steam completely and B. re-log into steam

Ok we need to get organized here guys i completely understand the frustration you fellas are feeling with trying to get steam working and it not acting like it should so im trying to rally everyone who knows something that fixes smoething in steam to PLEASE POST HERE this includes links like http://www.steampowered.com/index.php?area=faq AND http://forums.firearmsmod.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=40 Lets see if we can pull together and get these people up and running

you can still run hlsw in steam i think you should redirect that path and use hlsw as your filter also try to find a "friend" from ta once you have his contact use it to find out where your friend is playing(The Armory) :wink:

its not like i didnt have to kill a bunch of people to cap or anything AND THE ONLY WHEAPON I USED WAS A KNIFE!!!i dare somone(besides lister) to see if they can even come close to this with a knife :x i bet you that you cant do it without somone tryn to shotgun you into a higher score(i.e. must not work with teammates to get them to help you cap/kill)bec i sure did not
