well its over. quite a few people won(I even won again:) ) but someone squealed so I didnt get it. There was roughly a 1 in 4 chance of you getting a key.

So I got a beta key. I am dling it now and waiting to be :) . e- and I won it in a draw, screw fileplanet.

The problem is that their policies are all hidden. Im not that great of a player, but I was banned(temporarily) when using the ak47. The admin was saying "use less armor, you are too hard to kill". So I was eventually running around with all light(but then I could run forever so I was rushing all the time). Then I got kicked repeatedly. I was finally banned when I killed 2 people ina row with the 1911(I just lucked out with both of them being softened up by teammates). The YIS are saying that they are catering to the new players. Then why dont they just tack on the server name "Noobs Only"? It would completely remove this whole debate.

BF2142 is starting to look good. Too bad it will most likely be incredibly buggy. Oh well. Quake Wars, Crysis, UT2k7. Its all that matters. If 2142 is good, thats just a bonus.

Im going to state my opinion on this game as I stated it about Quake Wars. I posted it in another forums, so Im just going to paste it:

its the same engine(which is where the source of the bug might be), it might even be in this game.

Im going to put this bluntly about BF2142: nice attempt at trying to steal attention away from Quake Wars. Too bad your reputation is With the quality of bf2 still as crap I highly doubt a new 'game' made by the same people that added over 80 new bugs in a 2mb patch will be anywhere near decent. Lets not forget the potential of NOT fixing the game but making MANY MANY expansions because we have other divisions of our software company around the world. So this is what Im doing: Im going to wait till this game comes out and play the game. Not the demo, oh no not falling for that again. The bf2 demo ran great but the game is still crap. Im going to 'test' out the full version of bf2142 when it comes out. Once I see the game is still a disaster but just newer models and maps with clunky software programming, I will delete it and go do something better with my time.

but they are overpowered. The pump shotty deviation is 0.75. The benelli m4 deviation is 0.8, the rate of fire is 5 rounds a second, the damage per shell is the same as the pump shotty. It only holds 1 round less. Thats just an example of the pump shotty. The specops gun(hk53) holds 40 rounds and is more accurate than the g36c. Its just poor balancing.

since most of the patch consisted of euroforce content(yes it basically transferred all the weapons models and whatnot) I was trying them out with a mod. But I cant post the link, because*cough* website account suspended:eek: *cough*of the site. (pssst pm me). But anyways, they win. They truely win in every form. If they are unlocks for regular bf2, they WILL make a difference.

The demo is quite interesting. It takes a bunch of parts of the actual game and makes it one map. What you play in the demo you will never actually play in the game.

It was quite enjoyable. Its also quite enjoyable to play a game that doesnt get hiccups while im gunning people down. If they could only not make the shadows solid black and the lighting not look so fake.
