only problem with being a medic is when you wanna bandage yourself and theres all these people right next to you bleeding so you bandage all of them by accident and by the time you figure out why you're still bleeding, bam, your outa bandages. other than that, good stuff.

That would be cool until your leg was infected with a computer virus and went crazy and you became the worlds first prosthetic-leg-serial-killer. That would suck, man.

There's a reason for this, the HL engine doesn't support large open spaces well, and any of my fellow mappers out there will know it can be difficult to make large open areas on a map without the r_speeds shooting through the roof. (I'm not saying thats a bad point, I'm saying it's a very good point since the issue of CQB maps isnt gonna go away for HL based games) Back on the gaming topic... (spelled Scenarios, btw ) FA is not supposed to be a real life simulator. It is supposed to be a fair, fun, balanced game. Even so, it's still unreasonable that shotguns should be the pwning machines which they are in 2.9. Modern warfare takes place very much in CQB, but you dont see major military forces issuing shotguns instead of rifles. But even if they won't change the shotties gameplay wise, thats fine with me, just make them more expensive.

Played some more, went 44-22 today (pretty darn good for me ), and i think they tweaked the m16 3rnd because I was doing some serious damage with it... till the shotties showed up.

*is hypnotized like a moth about to fly into a bug zapper*

Another nice thing - grenade arming/throwing time is faster. He doesnt pull the pin like some old lady on valium who's been distracted by something on the price is right anymore. w00t!

I made some highlighted color models for a friend of mine, but he's colorblind and the defaults both looked green (or whatever green is to him) so I changed them to something he could tell apart.

personnally, i dont like the shotties now, I don't think they're overpowered so much as they're over accurate, i was playing thanatos and being taken out from shotty snipers in windows a good 300 ft from me in 1 - 2 shots with medium armor.

I've really been happy with the m4, and I have a nice new setup involving stealth and the reworked nightvision which allows me to get an edge on those darker maps. Right now the 2.9 weapons seem overused because... they are. Everyone wants to try them out. After a while many will go back to their old favorites. Personally, I think I have a keeper

wow havent felt hatred like there is flying around about the shotties since the dark reign of the Aug back in 2.5And i have no idea whats going on with my game, it just locks up and the whole game crashes.

my game just keeps crashing now

In my short time playing 2.9 so far i've heard equal ammounts of moaning and groaning and praise for the new version.What do you think?
