Thank you, it worked. It just baffled me because 1.0 and 1.01 worked with the newest drivers, yet the new one didn't. Oh well, doesn't really matter what version it is, as long as it works. Thanks again. On the topic of drivers, the Omega Drivers for ATi cards seemed to boost the cards ability to perform in the Half-Life, Source, and Battlefield engines (all that I've tested). Has anyone tried the Nvidia Omega drivers? I heard good things about them, but I don't know anyone who actually uses them. If you never heard of it, here's the site http://www.omegadrivers.net/. For ATi, it worked flawless in my older machine with a 9800xt, just gotta remove the old drivers of course. In CS: Source, my fps on de_tides went from 40 average to 110 average at 1024x768 with high settings, vsync off, and aa off. Like I said, I never used the omega nvidia drivers before.

Ok, I installed the last patch and decided to play BF2 again... but now, with the last patch, it won't launch the game. It starts to load, but then it just goes to desktop before I can see any of the beginning movies. I unlocked the DAO-12 for the Anti-Tank/Vehicle kit. Very powerful gun up close... well, not too powerful, but it fires as fast as I can click, which is pretty fast. DAO-12 = Up close Rocket Launcher = Snipeage If you didn't notice, I like AT

It seems on servers when i look at the scores and go over to I think "Management" or something on the scores page, I'm the only one without a check on the microphone capability. When I started the game I immediately set it up, I just don't understand why it thinks I don't have one... I'll try it again, but I don't think it likes me :/

The key to FA is to not underestimate the enemy.... and good crosshairs help too I use Paradigm's xhairs, it's basicly a + with the middle taken out, kinda like in CS but much smaller, and it's red. It allows me to actually see my opponents head when I'm shooting instead of covering it with the crosshair sprite

If you already bought that XFX card... good luck, I heard they like to die early :/
