Posted November 7, 200717 yr 1) is there going to be a buddy system sometime soon? 2) are they going to support clans? as in making clan leaderboards and such? 3) is there leaderboards for certain weapons, kit, classes, score, k/d, etc.? 4) whens the armory servers coming up? 5) theres no way to get into that chopper and/or possible to get any vehicles? 6) can you transfer your game onto steam so you can use their buddy system? 7) next patch!? any help appreciated.

Usually if they don't ship with one they won't have one, but maybe it will be implemented in a later patch 2.) I doubt 3.) I don't know what stats servers stream to Activision, but I would assume if they compiled all of those stats some would have been viewable in game. Before it was released a Dev said a website was something they were considering but no official word 4.) TBD. Like many companies, IW does not give their "gold" copies of games out early to linux coders so they can construct linux binaries. I'm guessing they will have them done within in the next week. Our host offered to give us a server based on a windows machine for the time being, thats still being worked on. 5.) This isn't battlefield, No you cannot. 6.) No, you should use xfire though. It's the best way to join right into a server we're playing in. 7.) Only time will tell.

It ended up me complaining about how I saw this guy hack. (btw I'm 99% sure he did)
November 8, 200717 yr Aye. There are already hackers about. I've seen a waller and what looked to be an aimbot. Granted, the "aimbot" didn't go for the head, but it didn't have to. You just can't hit someone with every single shot on full auto at 125, without scoping. Anyway, they're definitely out there. Just remember you can votekick through PB. ^^
November 8, 200717 yr 6) can you transfer your game onto steam so you can use their buddy system? You can use steam with any game or application on your computer. In the "My Games" tab, click on the button labeled "Add a non-Steam game..." We're talking CoD4, Spider Solitaire, and even Excel here!
November 8, 200717 yr I like the commercials I have seen of this game, the graphics rock. I just wish I had more time to get on the PC and play some games!
