Hey all,

I did a search before posting this but couldn't find an answer to this question I have.

This may be a dumb question (or it'll reveal how much of a true newbie I really am lol) but there's something about COD4 I don't quite understand. The FAQ said you can cook grenades, and one of the challenges in the game involves getting 5 kills with cooked grenades.

Could someone tell me what "cooked grenades" are, and how you get them in the game?

Take Care

Sure, A cooked grenade is when you pull the pin release the spoon and hold it then throw it, Example::.lets say there is a five second fuse on a nade, pull the pin hold for three seconds, then throw it , this allows for a close kill and no chance of a throw back, as well as throwing a nade far enough or bank it off a wall at an angle, so that the fuse is allowed burn down, or "cook off the Time". :D  :D

They're all wrong. Go get yourself a frying pan and grenade. Set the burner on high. Send the video in to Activision for credit. And post it here. For my laughter.

But really, when you're going to throw your grenade, hold down the mouse button for a couple counts. Let go to toss the grenade.

What I do is pull out a grenade and right-click. "1...2...3..." THROW. It will blow up within about 1 second of hitting the ground and, therefore, no one will have a chance to run out of the way.

The fuse is approximately 4.5 seconds, so 3 is all you need. Have fun!

Yup I dont ever just throw a nade. They are to easy to run away from if just immediatley thrown. Biscuit is right. Depending on the distance you want to throw will determine the amount of time you cook the damn thing. :D
