good find lol

Ya I pretty much knew it was phishing

I read somewhere that with these e mails some people actually call the number and they try to keep you on the phone telling you some long story about how you won and how to get paid and whos giving the money away on and on............Actually when you call the number it connects to an overseas LEGAL phone company that legally charges like 399.00 per minute

wow lol

when you get these send them to homeland security

yeah. On game shows you have to pay a super steep luxury tax on everything you win. I have friends who have won things on shows like that. One friend won a boat worth roughly ten grand. he had to pay a 2500 dollar luxury tax to claim the prize. A good deal to be sure but it's still expensive and of course you can't turn it down. So you pay. It's all a scam.

A friend of mine received the same thing in his email saying tha he won a million dollar prize for writing down his info on the shell cupons(which they give you here if u pay more than 20 dollaras worth of gas, so if u spend 60 bux they give u 3) and he was al excited and they gave him an overseas number and info and all they wanted from him was his bank account number and all the info from his bank so they would send the money to him, funny part is that the actual prized for that time was gas coupons only lol.

He said that when he had that money he would give me 20,000 bux hahahah

SURE!!!! loss of time... nothing is free in this world, only the air, which we take as granted! :S

it is called a 419 scam based on the Nigerian Criminal code. These scammers are usually based out of Nigeria. I posted some of my exploits of screwing with these people in the Outhouse.

You can cost these scammers a lot of money in phone calls and stuff. If you are interested I can give you some pointers and how you can setup some phone numbers and stuff for free.

"Scambaiting" can be hilarious good fun. We've had a few good ones going in the past.
