Posted June 3, 200817 yr gentlemen (and select ladies) i need your honest opinions i was driving a few days ago and saw this and thought if customized it would make a cool tattoo so i went at it in photoshop and came up with this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v56/MrBojangles/smiley2copy.jpg obviously i would have a tattoo artist redraw it and make it look a little cooler, but what do you guys think? i like it because its not a hobby that you would grow tired of and regret, its an american flag and a badass smiley. as far as placement goes im thinking right bicep or pec kthanks
June 3, 200817 yr It's not something I personally would put on my body, but that's just me. Love your rendition, though.
June 3, 200817 yr If you like it, go for it.........don't worry about everyone else or there's really no reason to get one at all. Somebody probably will not like it down the road but as long as you do that's all that matters. Bicep is always a good place because it can be shown proudly when you want or tucked away when you want.
June 3, 200817 yr I agree with KDawg....if you like it, that should be all that matters. But to answer your question, YES. It's a pretty cool TAT idea.
June 3, 200817 yr I like it but it is missing a little something. Looks like a crooked mouth and goatie. Maybe one simple mouth/cheek line around the right upper side of the mouth. It would add a very slight bit of realism. Other than that, GO4IT!!!
June 8, 200817 yr Good general idea, funny, patriotic, and pretty classy. I would do bicep, pec would suck when you get all old and saggy. My only concern is that I have never really seen yellow done right on tatoos, always comes out looking jaundiced like you have liver problems. I dont mind tatoos (except racist/deliberately offensive ones in plain sight), but I am confused by the so called "tramp stamp". Why do girls get them if they already know what it implies about their promiscuity and "ease of use" regardless of the truth?
June 8, 200817 yr I dont like them other than the tramp stamps... they are ok I just do not want any mark on my body used to ID...I mean you never know what you may be doing one day and not want that on there. Mine is because of my job and I was undercover now a good bit. I change the way I look a good bit I do not want that to always be a way to know who I am. Others who work in the armed services get them but if they ever wanted to work in the CIA or something along those lines that would be a negative I think. Not to mention just the simple fact that it is cool but may not be 30 years from now.
June 9, 200817 yr this is what cha do go have the tat shop do a paint, it lasts about a month, and see how you feel about it, if ya dont like it it will wash off , but if your in it for real it dont go away , and yellow is very clear and vibrant, the key find a great artist,

I don't consider myself a tramp or promiscuious. I just happen to like wolves and wanted one where i can choose to display it or not to the public. Not all women who have tattoos are tramps.

Not all women who have tattoos are tramps. -The 'Tramp Stamp' is the corny tattoo at the bottom of the lower back...Wolfey, sounds like yours was tastefully (and intelligently) done so you are NOT in that category. -As for the smilie...I would so get it on my forehead.
June 9, 200817 yr Author thanks for the feedback guys. i've decided that i'm gonna take my version to an artist and see what they can draw and how it would look, then i'll make a decision
