I couldn't get Battlefield 2142 to start at all ...not even the start screen. Well, until I found this post that fixed my problem. I thought I would share...

I created the batch file as the user suggested (make sure you answer all questions "Yes":

@ECHO OFF

ECHO.

ECHO This Batch file will Reset the Pace Anti-Piracy in Battlefield 2142 Allowing it to load again

ECHO Written by Beggin-Strips a.k.a Guy Galluzzo.

ECHO.

PAUSE

ECHO.

ECHO This first Step will remove the Pace Registry key in your HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE once you run 2142 again the entry will be recreated.

ECHO.

reg delete "HKLM\Software\PACE Anti-Piracy"

pause

ECHO.

ECHO This second Step will remove the Pace Registry key in your HKEY_CURRENT_USER once you run 2142 again the entry will be recreated.

ECHO.

reg delete "HKCU\Software\PACE Anti-Piracy"

pause

ECHO.

ECHO This third and final Step will remove the Pace folder in your Common Files Folder once you run 2142 again the folder will be recreated.

ECHO.

del "C:\Program Files\Common Files\PACE Anti-Piracy\Log Files\*.*"

ECHO.

ECHO Once this batch file closes you will be able to play Battlefield 2142 again.

ECHO.

pause

EXIT

Why zip something that is less than a kilobyte? :D If you were that concerned, you could just delete all those comment lines. Sorry, pet peeve.

Well, because the site does not allow users to upload ".bat" files.

It takes about 2 nano seconds to execute, but takes about two seconds to delete them. :D

Still doesn't even fix my problem of not letting me join a server or create a single player server for myself....
