My grandfather sent me this and I thought some of you would enjoy it. This is a copy of the e-mail

For those of you who have served and those of you who have waited anxiously

at home for their safe return...thank-you for your sacrifice !!!

Gray Eagles

Turn up your sound! This is powerful, it is hard to get

through it with dry eyes.

This tribute to the Gray Eagles (WWII pilots) was in

conjunction with an Air show in Ohio called 'The Final

Roundup.' It was the last large gathering Of the

remaining P-51 Mustang fighters used during WWII. There were

About 120 of the fighters there...all of them in flying

condition, of course.

The flyover seen at the end of the video is composed

entirely of P-51s Spelling out the number 51.

It was an event that will never be seen again.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. I dunno if its just me but I find as I get older it gets harder not to tear up when I watch stuff like this. Both my parents were NAVY. My Dad went to nam and ended up in the Mekong delta in PBR's (when he would get drunk he would tell me about it). I guess thats why I can relate so well and the emotions are so powerful...

Any of you been to the D-Day museum in New Orleans? I went shortly after it opened I know its changed some now but its an awsome experiance if any of you get the chance to go. Theres also a great American Civil War museum just down the street. It has a great exibit on a black, yes I said black, regiment that fought for the south!
