April 17, 200917 yr Hey everyone, when we play lets try telling people using 'say all' that if the server crashes, to rejoin quickly so we can continue in the fun. Luckily though, past couple nights I played it didn't crash once, but when it does crash it sucks because the server gets killed. But if people know we will be back with a vengeance they may be more willing to rejoin too. Just a thought that everyone can help pitch in to keep our beloved 2142 server full.
April 17, 200917 yr I had a CTD problem related to my badges.. simply clicking on badges or pins or ribons would result in a crash.. this, if you have it, may be overcome by uninstalling and reinstalling.. Installing the full patch 1.4 (NOT 1.5) then northern strike if you have it and then 1.4 again and then the 1.4-1.5 incrimental patch
April 18, 200917 yr Happen to me only when I click onto badges (I don't have any ribbons yet)... After a format and reinstalled the game with only the 1.5 patch. Tested few minutes ago, also medals/pins happened... It's not the server problem but the EA patch problems... Egidio.

Yes it fixed the problem.. previously i had installed BF2142, then patched to 1.5, installed NS and then patched again.. the problemis NOT present when you click a pin.. only CTD's when you click a badge or ribbon.. to fix this.. Uninstall the game (dont have to uninstall profiles etc just hte game).. Reinstall 2142. Patch to 1.4 install NS if you have it patch 1.4 patch 1.4-1.5 incrimental patch
April 18, 200917 yr Ouch! I do not have anymore the 1.4 patch! And the 1.4 to 1.5 incremental patch (174 MB.) is available into the "download" section... Donwloaded the 1.40 patch (385 MB.) from FilePlanet but it's a "beta" edition... Egidio.
April 19, 200917 yr Nice, thanks Shotty, will pass the info to my friend !!! I have also just reinstalled 2142, 1.5, NS, 1.5, but i have not tried my pins yet, i hope i will not have an unpleasant surprise lol.
