June 23, 200916 yr I just found out that my female schnauzer most likely has Cushing's disease which has no cure. Just hope we caught it early enough to extend her life span. She is nine and although she is a canine she is like a child to my wife and I sense we do not have children. She is going for test Tuesday of next week.

June 23, 200916 yr Sorry to here that Strobes. I grew up with a schnauzer during my entire childhood, so know exactly how you feel. They become a part of our lives, and in their absence, there is a sad, sad void in our hearts. I hope she pulls out of this and has more life coming.
