Posted June 24, 200916 yr ARMORY (=A=) 24/7 Karkand Infantry! Sounds like a good title for are bf2 server ! We absolute getting no were with the bf2 server we need to have something that everyone loves to play! I play on the {DAM} Karkand Infantry server all the time, (It's always populated). They get one or two of their members in and the server fills right up. We need to gain back are popularity and then start to switch up the maps or even get another server with the other maps. I looked at all the servers DAM has and they have 6 always populated servers. Please cast your vote on weather we should do this, if you say NO please explain why.

We don't have to Karkand we can do a warlord or any of those fun maps, Ghost Town even. But what we have going now just isn't working. I vote yes, anything to get some game. We tried it though before and it wasnt really filling the server up either, but i am up for some change ! From what i can remember we had a lot of people in the server helping out and when it finally got started we got a couple people short of a full server.

If we have to play 24/7 Warlord for a month, but in turn we get a full server night after night then we have accomplished our mission. The true goal is to get our name known again, and have people add our server to their favorites list. Once we have a steady crowd, then we can go back to a full rotation. Asking some of our own clan members to sit for hours on end waiting for a 6th player twidling their thumbs so a 6th can join and leave after ten minutes just isn't right, and in my opinion is partially the reason why people haven't been on as much. I'm not one for re-inventing the wheel, but our strategy to fill the server at its current time is not working.

It is very difficult there is about 8,000 players at the most at one given time. Just give the server one hour and if it doesn't start then go play another server. Problem is most the servers out there are full of tards and hackers. Playing on our server is nice but when we do get it going it doesn't last long or we don't climb over 12 players.
June 25, 200916 yr O.K. Let me get this out of the way. WolfZero "are" should be "our". Next thing, Ding, the fact that there are only 8000 players out there is the reason you should play just Karkand or Warord. These are the maps that people like and I have had most of my good times playing these two maps mostly. Deal with the tards as they show up that's all you can do. Take the good with the bad. It's a dying game and you have to do what you have to do. Also, excuse me for making suggestions as I am not part of the clan at this time but still love you guys and hope The Armory lives on for future generations to enjoy. Damn. hope I didn't sound too much like Hogan there.

You can take this how you want since i dont get to play much right now but it does not matter what you do , its gonna fail if as a group we are not out there supporting the server with more than just 2 or 3 ppl

I agree with you too Ding, we need dedicated (MEMBERS) to help start the server or we aren't going to have a server, if everyone else is just going to play on other servers, all that does is drains our funds and therefore gives us no reputation. Two, three people aren't going to cut it. We need full support from the clan and we will create an out come of a populated server.
June 25, 200916 yr Hopefully i'll be done with my case modification today. If i get it done in time i will try to hop on later this evening if not i will be on after work tomorrow. We just need about 4 people usually we can grab a few pubbers here or there. That is if PB doesn't get them first. We can get the server going it is just PB that doesn't let it keep going. PB generally likes to kick as soon as the server gets going.
June 25, 200916 yr Although I do enjoy the 24/7 Infantry servers, we have tried it before and had little to no sucess. I also like Special Forces, but we have had our best success playing "vanilia" BF2 . Plus, you can only play so many rounds of any "one" map, before you go nuts.

June 25, 200916 yr i am for whatever we do i voted yes since i am not a vehicle person and enjoy infrantry play . i find vehicle's tend to promote ppl in them and not really tring to take flags just camping the ones that are but just my oppinion
June 26, 200916 yr Currently i think we are flogging a dead donkey. 2 reasons.. The game is old, small deminishing playerbase and a multitude of other servers and the fact that (as usual) the same 5 members try to get the server going and when they do it stays up for 15 minutes or so till someone gets owned and leaves, and then we are back to square 1. With the impending release of MW2 and BF1943, this should hopefully chance with a bit of strategic server placement.
