August 24, 200916 yr I am so sorry. We own 4 dogs and have always owned dogs... It is awful every time one has to be put down. I understand, hang in there!

August 25, 200916 yr My sympathy and understanding of similar losses at my end. When my Lady lost her long-time cat, who I played lots with and cuddled me when I was down, was dragging a ball and chain. Until I took her to Shelter for found or given up animals that are looked after by donations. They can't stay forever there, sadly. She made her choice and we were happy feeling that the missed cat would appreciate knowing we just saved the life of one. Sincerely, Cam
