Watching this video compilation showing the results of people running "red" lights it may get you to think twice as you approach any intersection. Just because the light is "green" in your direction doesn't mean it's totally safe to go through the intersection expecting all traffic is stopped at the red light. Some of these show that people are totally asleep at the wheel, or probably texting.

I was hit by a woman running a red light while I was riding a motorcycle going 40. I am lucky to be almost fully recovered but it has taken years. I don't think I'll ever trust riding a motorcycle again even though I have a nice one sitting in my garage just collecting dust.

I blame it to people rushing and speeding angrily about and not paying attention to the road. Occasionally though, there are people who drive reckless deliberately and it just doesn't make any sense.

It happens so quick. I know I have run red light before on accident because I wasn't pay attention. It has only ever happened when no one was around, but it is scary all the same when I realized what I just did.
