November 6, 201015 yr Ingredients: 2 cups sugar 1/2 cup milk 1 stick butter 1/2-2/3 cups peanut butter (crunchy or creamy whatever your preference) 1 pinch of salt 1 teaspoon of vanilla the original recipe calls for 2 cups oatmeal but i've never used less that 4 cups and as much as 6 cups counting on humidity Directions: Bring milk, sugar, and butter to a hard boil. Then add peanut butter, salt, and vanilla. Remove from heat. add the oatmeal last because you wont know how much to add. it will be very thick and will be hard to stir. Thats when its done just spoon onto waxpaper and let cool optional can melt some chocolate in a double boiler dip your cooled drops in and let cool again I've only done the chocolate once but its not necessary taste great with or with out Tis one of my favorites around the holidays and thought some of you might like it too
