November 16, 200322 yr It prepare hl to play FA : it's the correct sentence & way to update hl for fa in Steam... But after, you must to install fa 2.8 in the steam folder here in C:\program files\Steam\steamapps\(your count e-mail)\half-life\ The correct folders for your : maps, models, sprites & your sprays pldecals is in C:\program files\Steam\steamapps\(your count e-mail)\half-life\Firearms\ I do to uninstall Steam, reboot computer, reinstall Steam, reinstall Firearms 2.8 full version for that all run right... Egidio.
November 30, 200322 yr Wsaenotsock, I am having the same problem. It only happenes to Firearms for me. I reinstalled and all that junk and still does it. I need some serious help.
November 30, 200322 yr Delete the .blob file in your Steam folder and update Steam.Then reinstall FA FULL version 2.8 into the correct Steam folder.
