Class balance in BF3

Featured Replies

I was wondering how you all felt about class balance in the BETA. I have been primarily playing as support and have messed with assault and engineering only a small bit.

I think each class has a specific role to fill based on the map, but I was wondering if it's where it should be - Considering you have to invest a large amount of time into one class to have most of it's functions.

Basically, I am a little annoyed by the assault and recon class and due to the ammo count they generally carry I feel useless as a supply role.

Support isn't very good at mobile engagements (the other classes can acquire targets faster) unless using the shotgun or one of the other all class weapons.

Just wondering what you guys think. Am I just paranoid and/or just suck or is this an actual issue?

Where I've been playing assault the whole time I frequently find myself needing ammo and never have a support gunner to supply me. Hope fully at some point we can be in the same squad or they will add that customizable squad thing I heard rumors about a month ago.
i agree i played the engineer and run out of rockets and no one seems to toss out some ammo.. i play the other role and cant find someone to give ammo to.. i play medic and and pretty much heal myself.. but I love recon that's what i normally play
