Converting .Dem into .AVI/.MPG/.MP4?????

OK ok ok i have probably 3 or 4 hours of gunbattles, run ins, explosions and ownage by people on teh TA server, hwo do i put this into a video format?

My friend (you probably know him - Paradigm) uses Fraps. It seems VERY simple. He has it all configed and stuff and then just goes into a demo and records it, its quite amazing actually.He is away on vacation right now, but he will help you probably when hes back.

1) Download Fraps... www.fraps.com -> Get 1.9 D

2) Turn it on, and make sure your settings are like I have them, see image below.

3) Open FA, change resolution to 640 x 480.

4) Press ` to go into console, and type viewdemo <demoname>.dem or playdemo <demo>.dem

5) Press 0 on the keypad to start recording and 0 on the keypad again to stop recording.

6) Go into C:\Fraps to find and view your clips.

 

 

You need a quite good computer with lots of RAM to run it correctly and well, just a heads up.
