December 26, 200322 yr Hey, I have a problem with my computer. Just got BF1842, install, and try to play. Loading up, and when it tries to get to the full screen, it just... leaves... this has been happening to my computer alot with lots of different programs and its really starting to PISS ME OFF.please help me.
December 26, 200322 yr This might be because of the refresh rate problem with bf, it will only run if your monitor is set to 60hz(or whatever the default xp setting is).What you have to do is go into 1 of the configs and change it to allow other refresh rates.
December 26, 200322 yr Author No its a problem with my computer, it does this to TONS of programs, but I'm not a genius and don't know what the hell is wrong. As you can see I am very mad.

December 26, 200322 yr Its not a virus. I had the same problem with my computer.Its your windows thats sux. You have probably lost a file that windows needs.I just formated my computer and installed windows again. After that i havnt had any problems.Good Luck
December 27, 200322 yr Earlier in this post someone mentioned the virus 'Trojan' I have that and its really pissing me oof. How do you go about getting rid of it???
December 27, 200322 yr this may not help at all but i couldnt get medal of honor to run for a while, until i found that my cdrom was too fast for the game to work, and it had to be 40x speed or slower. :roll:
December 27, 200322 yr Ok I'll look into the google thing to see how to get rid of it. P.S.I have Norton on the computer and when it detects trojan it says 'Unable to quarintine this file'
