When i use steam every thing is going correctly until it goes to the connecting to server. Then it says my cld/client differs... How do i fix this?

you're version of whatever mod you're trying to play is out of date.You gotta go find the lastest version of basically any Third Party Mod.but for the other ones like Day of Defeat, Counter-Strike, etc. Steam will download the lastest version by itself

Yes but its FA although i do not have it installed in 3rd party games i do find server it it comes up.

Yeah you could find servers, but you need the actual game on your system to play
