January 1, 200421 yr With my luck, I'll never get a new computer, and will never even get to regularly play FA with you, cuz. TA will switch to DC (what's with all the two-letter things?) and I won't even be able to post Spam toons on TA. My prediction.

DC or Jungle Mist?I'm guessing most will be playing DC, and the other few on Jungle Mist (when that comes out)When Half Life 2 comes out, FA will *****slowly***** go away and most people will get HL2 and get Jungle Mist, and because the last version(s) of FA are getting released, too. *note how I said FA will die Slowly*
January 2, 200421 yr We are not switching to DC.It is a fun game but lacks a lot that FA has.So keep playing and get your friends to play.We will be here.
January 2, 200421 yr We are actually doing both now (DC and FA), so don't worry about us leaving FA. Like Mac said, DC is a lot of fun, but we stll love our Firearms. We have the best of both worlds because we rent a dedicated server and can run any games we desire. For example, I was going to shut down the FA server completely so we could run a 40-player DC server on the 1st, but as you can see, we did not do this. After reading the posts in these forums, I realized that those who were unable to play DC would be left out in the cold, so I kept FA running with a 20-player server. You will see the player numbers change on the servers from time to time, so just hang in there. One of these days we will shut the FA server down to experience a large scale DC game, but not at the moment.
January 2, 200421 yr The other day I played DoD for a few minutes. Out of curiosity i began asking people if they had ever played or heard of FA. I got some positive responses but most of them ended with-it's to hard to find a good place to play FA. I told them about THE ARMORY so maybe well will get some new players.Anyway, I don't think FA is going down because of its gameplay, It is going down because of the lack of good STEAM and nonSTEAM servers.I heard a few DoD clan members say FA should have been (was actually going to be) an official mod. I wonder what went wrong?Lets hope the mod sticks around another year or two -PUNISHER
January 2, 200421 yr Author Well thanks for not closing down the TA server Gator!I've been sick for the last couple of days so all I could do is play on the server. My sisters gave me the cold.. blargh.And Punisher, GJ for gettin out there and sharin the news. The TA server is a great one to play at.Right now its at 20 ppl, which I can live with. I heard we mite get it up at 22,24. which is much better.
January 2, 200421 yr LOL, i like the sever running at 20 people. It doesn't bog down my comp so I'll be able to own for a few days downside is it's harder to join the server
