i just have a little question!!my dad most likely will be signed away from ...to Dell!now of course my prift from that is ill get 50% of everything from Dell!!the question now is, that i heard a lot of negativ stuff about Dell computers and their gaming perfomance!true or false!!!!!
i have a dell, its a p4 1.8 with 512 DDR and geforce ti 200. not that great of a PC, but I can say that I have not one complaint about it, it handles bf42 fine, FA too.. very reliable, havent had one problem with it for 2 and a half years.
i have a dell as welldimension 8200p4 processor2.ghz256mb ram64mb ddr gforce4 ti42002 hard drives one is 128 gb the other is an 8017" flat screen ctr monitorak is right dells are pretty reliable, i've gone through 2 comps, this one is my 3rd b/c i beat the hell out of comps, i abuse them and i've had this one for almost 3 years and it still runs almost like brand new. however i will say that when dell figured out that laying off all of the american dell tech support ops and hireing/ trainning new tech support ops from europe b/c it was cheaper their tech support has gotten really bad reviews.like when i bought my 128 hard drive (after i bought my comp) dell said that i could call the tech support and they would tell me right over the phone how to put it in for free, wich was awesome, but when i called i was talking to this guy from india and after about 3 and a half hours on the phone i got my new HD in and working but my 80 HD would'nt boot... so then they sent a feild tech to my house and fix it. well he couldn't fix it so he had to replace it with a new. now this was all free but the cetch was that i couldn't keep my original 80 HD...so then i had to reformat everything back onto my comp. but other than having crappy tech support dells are good computers.
I have an DELL Dimension 4300, Pentium 4 (with SS2)1,50 GHz, 512 Ram* Dell P791 (Trinitron)* Nvidia Geforce 2 MX/MX 400* Harman Cardon speaker system (Great sound!!)The computer is great, i haven´t had any problems since the past 2 years! The games run smooth; BF 1942, FA + all the new games out thereThe only weak link is my grafik card
its unanimous :Ddell = good stuffI mean don't get me wrong, buildin your own PC > ALL mass produced pc's. But for a mass prodcued one, dell is a gr8 choice.
