60Hz (tickrate) Beta Test Servers

Featured Replies

I submitted a ticket asking if The Armory could be a test server for the 60Hz tickrate servers.  Here was their response:

We will start deploying 32 slots instances on 60hz in our own system for testing before the weekend.

These instances can be found by filtering on the following name: i3D.net - High Tickrate Beta

We are not offering the high tickrate beta to our customers until a price is known and it's tested as stable.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Best regards,

I played on a couple, couldn't really tell a difference. The game mentioned something about setting your framerate higher than the tick rate. How does that work? It seems like I have to bump the resolution down a lot to get to 75Hz, and that's the highest it goes.
There are a bunch of 64 player 60Hz servers up, not sure the provider

they might claim to be, but chances are they aren't. check the tickrate in the top left corner of the pause menu when you're playing there.

Now you can filter the battle log by the tick rate too, which is nice.

I was in one today. It shows orange icons on the screen when settings are not correct and so forth.

Never noticed a difference in quality.
