old demos as in 2.7 demos? if so (if u havent deleted 2.7) run it and then play the demo play/viewdemo <name>

That old demos involved Benelli shotgun, which is not present in 2.8 anymore. But I don't know if it helps, if you just copy missing files to 2.8 directories?

Old demos don't usually work if there are new weapons.

no i've copied the all the old models and now its asking for sprites now sigh maybe i'll have to install 2.7 on a computer run them and copy them to a movie
