The SC model has the back plate and has internal LEDs that light up too.

Over clocking adds like 2-3 FPS so I'm not worried about getting the FTW model.

The SC edition is just a factory overclocked Reference (Founders) card.

To be dead honest, it's worth your while to spend the extra $10 for the FTW.

I agree taking a look at it. But that's how they also squeeze a little more money out from ya "10$ more you can have the best of the best model card!"

It's a custom PCB, and has a better power delivery system. I'd spend the extra $10 if it was me.

You could also wait a couple months - there should be some good deals going on, and the prices should drop since the pascal GPUs are still new and in somewhat high demand.

I'm not buying a new card until BF1 comes out officially, so I hope cards will drop in price

This is my thinking too. I usually get the card with the better PCB and cooler and then I turn off overclocking completely. Heat kills. My 780 GTX gets up to 60C with aftermarket noctua fans. That's still hot but not nearly as hot as it would be with the stock fans, 70C, and overclocked it would get over 75C. I know they say these cards are made for that type of temperature but come on man... That's why they start failing after just a year or two because of all the heat stress.

When I game, I always overclock. I dont max it out but it is turned up. I am running a 7 yr old video card that is stock.

Are you ruining an ATi?

I hate ATI cards, why would Axle even buy one eh? What he really needs is a 1080, and to buy weapon the 1070 :)

Aw patches you're so nice :)
