Hardcore mode officially releasing on Nov. 16

Pretty close to what we were running last night except for the name tags being off, that definitely makes things more difficult. Interesting they turned off elite classes.

Gotta say I enjoyed the HC mode sim last night for the most part. I will say that I played scout most of the night and have a couple of issues that i hope are addressed.

1) The damage multiplier is way too high. No way I should be able to oneshot someone from over 300m away and yet nearly every hit was a one shot nuke even bodyshots. SMGs just damn.

2) The lack of any hit indicators sucks. I got used to listening to SFX to tell if I got a kill but in a plane you really need those indicators to judge windage etc when you are the gunner.

3) Scope glint is flakey. I would be shooting at someone and see the glint and then it would be gone yet I know they were scoped in.

4) System sees mortar aiming as a HUD. Without the aming overlay mortars are basically useless.

On the positive side I had squaddies spawn on me and not once was I pushed around etc so Hooray

Very interested to see what the Official HC does tonight.
