I thought I would take a moment and let you all know what we have been doing to get our own servers online.  As many of you know, it has been a cluster frack to date, so here is where we stand now:.  

 

Bad News:

 

- We have limited access to the servers as seen here .  

 

- All we can do is name the server and give it certain attributes/settings.

 

- They screwed map selection, so all we can do is add 6 of the nine available maps at any given time

 

- There is no admin panel, so we cannot admin the server (e.g. kick/ban/move)

 

Good News:

 

- I have rented two servers on the East Coast, placing one of them running Hardcore mode, and one running Normal Ranked Mode

Eventually, we will have the following capabilities:

 

 

Because of all the complaints, they made a quick fix for Hardcore, and told us to type in the settings manually to mirror the DICE Hardcore servers.  Well, we did just that, but the Quick Match (QM) function of the browser does not place QM players into the server.  It takes 20 players to start a server., so that is why you see us running Normal Mode at this time.   They said they will be making it a "Preset"  soon, which will then allow us to receive QM players.  Until then, we are running Normal Mode.

 

I am just as frustrated as the rest of you, but have faith until we get all of these issues resolved.

Don't forget instead of reducing player health like they did in previous HC modes now they just up the weapon damage 200%. which makes a good many weapons waaaaay op.  500m sniper one shots to the body are now my bread and butter.

UPDATE!  

 

I just called EA and requested a FULL refund ($187.16) for the servers until they get them fixed.

 

Depending on the situation, we may rent two servers in the future; one Normal Mode, and one Hardcore Mode
