We are pleased to announce that the Battlefield 1 Giant’s Shadow release and Base Game Update will start rolling out tomorrow. You can expect a slew of improvements included in the Base Game Update with changes to a variety of weapons, vehicles, Spectator Mode, and much more.

 

The Base Game Update will be automatically deployed to your platform on Tuesday, December 13th across all platforms with the following downtimes:

 

PC: Multiplayer will be offline for 1h starting 08.00 UTC / 12.00 AM PT.

 

PS4: Multiplayer will be offline for 1h starting 10.00 UTC / 2.00 AM PT.

 

Xbox One: Multiplayer will be offline for 1h starting 12.00 UTC / 4.00 AM PT.

 

Patch notes will be posted here once the Base Game Update is live. Be sure to check back once maintenance is complete.

Giant’s Shadow will be available for players who pre-ordered Battlefield 1 (and have the Harlem Hellfighter Pack) or our Premium members. It will release to all players on December 20th, 2016.

This gives me hope that they are indeed looking at the RSP as a separate product , well it is really, and not including Server fixes /feature additions in these notes. That does though make me wonder WTF and when they plan on adding this stuff.

Again, no rental server updates, just a bunch of run around.

I played early this morning before work. Just a bunch of little things is all I could tell. It did seem to run smoother. I look forward to testing more tonight.

 

Ali Coming Soon said he is back in the office today.

They fixed the end of round rank progress bar so it no longer shows your progress from rank 1. It looks to be correct now from the previous rank.

I was pinged by a guy on Reddit today and he says the 125% in HC mode adds about a shot to most weps but most sniper rifles as still oneshots on any hit. If so thats sad. Will try it after I patch tonight.
