January 29, 20179 yr I was just checking BF4stats. On PC currently and peak 24 hour period is 19,988 players. Not bad considering a month ago is was at 6000 players. (before BF1 launch, Peak player counts was around 22K to 25K players) BF1 unfortunately is still dwindling. 53,475 Currently on and Peak 24 hour period as well. This is a great time to get in on our BF4 server and live it up and have some fun because it will not last. Come March, BF1 gets the new DLC of 4 more maps and the RSP server issues is suppose to be fixed. IF it all pans out, then I am sure players will flock back to BF1.

The Alliance was made in part as a joint venture to aid us in the transition to Battlefield 1, which never materialized fully. The Alliance was not intended as a vehicle to extend the life of a three-year-old game. It was intended to bring us all together to play BF1 on a united front. I sometimes like to play BF4, but shortly after I start playing, the game feels old and stale to me. The hacking accusations against fellow members have gotten out of control, too, and the nastiness towards players is ugly and unfortunate. The days of playing with friendly people have reached an all time low, for me anyways. Because of this, I personally don't care if anyone plays BF4, gets BF1 or doesn't get BF1. I frankly don't give a shit. The Armory is a 15-year old clan I started back in 2002, which is moving forward with BF1. The Armory BF4 server was started as a courtesy, and nothing else. Based on participation and donations, it may or may not survive past this month. BF4 servers are costly to run, so we will evaluate its use, and make a determination as to whether or not to keep it.

I believe (in spite of Masonic lessons) that passion, and passionate discussion, is a key feature toward development and evolution...and healthy for discourse. Keep the faith, friend. Stay the course. You will have those who disagree, but my experience is that those are the folks who will rally behind you when the stuff really hits the fan. January 30, 20179 yr I can understand Gator's point of view. :sad: The Armory is his baby, managing all of this, and seeing the ambiance that flies in the BF4 area, it's normal to have this reaction. People making false accusations, insulting each other, etc.. For him, it's a waste a money. Although I would be sad to see the BF4 server disappear. :sad: So it's our job guys to keep this server OP, by stopping all kind of crappy accusations, insulting and stuff.. (accent imitation on TS :mellow: just saying...) We need to give people the envy to come back. {I already hear people... "what a douche, he is one of those guys..."} :dry: I know that That's why we need to support each other and playing the cop with who cross the line. We are supposed to be a friendly community. :laugh: People need to follow the forum, it's always the same persons that check threads and replies posts. Everyone should take 5 min to check it. Being involved, knowing each other, etc etc And I know those days the money is an issue for most of the people, but I think we are enough here to support Gator. :smile: :smile:
January 30, 20179 yr Honestly I haven't seen that much calling out folks or anything other than some good natured shit talking. I may not be paying close enough attention. Yeah some folks hack you off a bit but who doesn't get torqued after the 2 or 3 or 10th face blasting. The clan can count on my donation towards whatever they deem the appropriate action. I will say however that not having to deal with Douchenozzle radio , ie the in game chat, in BF1 has been refreshing.

You are more than right and for the most part I think while getting rofl-pwned you get frustrated we all really enjoy playing together else we wouldn't be here. Last night I just couldn't buy a kill in most maps but i was tired and I'm older so my reflexes suck. The Flexeril I took for back spasms didn't help either. Was hella mellow.
February 1, 20179 yr CDU Clan made a $50.00 donation today, so I extended the server for 30 more days at a cost of $68. This extends the server for another 43 days, which should take us to about the 15th of April. We will take a look at the server situation when we approach that time.
